He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 266

She assumed he would finally cave and run downstairs to his precious lover. She certainly didn't expect him to follow her.

Just as she stripped off her clothes and prepared to step into the shower, the bathroom door clicked open. Startled, she spun around and stared at him in disbelief. He was still in his loungewear, stalking slowly toward her. The phone in his hand was still buzzing. She had lost track of how many times Janetta had called, but he clearly wasn't going to answer.

A deep frown settled on Helena's face. She had no idea what he was trying to achieve. The bathroom echoed with the relentless vibration of the phone. Snapping out of her shock, she scrambled to cover herself with her clothes. Even though they had shared a bed countless times, she felt entirely too vulnerable standing naked in front of him right now.

As her fingers brushed the fabric, he lunged. He grabbed her wrist and yanked her against his chest.

"Sebastian!" she gasped.

The damp tiles were slippery, and she lost her footing. Panic seized her, and her hands instinctively flew to protect her stomach—a primal motherly urge to shield her baby at all costs. But Sebastian caught her securely before she could fall.

Still reeling, she watched in bewilderment as he held up his phone and powered it off right in front of her face. The screen went black, and the buzzing finally died.

She was utterly baffled. He was pushing this game too far, and she couldn't tell if his target was Janetta or her. A predatory gleam sparked in his eyes, and every instinct screamed at her to run. But trapped in his arms, there was no escape.

Between breathless kisses, he whispered a seductive command, "Take my clothes off."

She couldn't fight him. If she refused, he would only find a more ruthless way to force her into submission. The sudden, overwhelming heat of his passion sent a flutter of anxiety into her stomach, making the baby shift restlessly. Her senses were completely hijacked, her emotions tumbling into chaos. He pressed her back against the wet, cold tiles, the stark contrast of the chilled ceramic and his burning touch sending a shockwave through her system.

Her breathing grew frantic. He guided her hands to his shirt, forcing her to undress him until there were no barriers left between them. The intense intimacy did nothing to soothe her racing heart. In the past, whenever Janetta was involved, his passion had always felt like punishment. And tonight, she had done nothing but push his buttons.
