He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 492

After what felt like an eternity, the light above Helena's operating room finally went out.

She was wheeled out, but she was still unconscious.

The police immediately flanked her stretcher.

What Helena had done today was premeditated attempted murder in broad daylight.

Everyone had seen it happen.

Even though she was unconscious, the police were required to keep a strict watch on her until she woke up.

During this time, she was barred from seeing anyone to prevent any unforeseen complications.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Hayes, Mr. Campbell, but you cannot go inside," the officer said, blocking their path.

Neither man said a word.

The doctor emerged from the sterile double doors.

Sebastian's gaze immediately locked onto him.

The doctor proactively offered an update. "Ms. Wallace is not in any immediate danger. Although the collision was severe, the airbags deployed and protected her vitals. She suffered a concussion from the impact and sustained multiple fractures, but none are critical. She should heal in about a month."

He briefed both Sebastian and Julian on her condition.

They stood in heavy silence, absorbing the news.

The doctor didn't linger, quickly making his way toward the wards.

"Are you satisfied now, Sebastian?" Julian sneered, turning his furious gaze toward the other man.

"Do you have any idea why she did this?" Julian's voice dripped with pure venom, demanding an answer.

Sebastian's grip tightened inside his pockets.

"You and Janetta pushed her to this, step by agonizing step. Didn't you know Wynn Wallace was her only family? You stood by while Janetta drove him to his grave, not even letting Helena say a final goodbye. Did you have any idea how much that baby meant to her? Hope was her only reason to keep breathing, and what did you two do? What did Janetta do?"
