Chapter 130 You Know What You’ve Done
Liana, however, was completely captured by his words.
He said Anya had moved out of Westhaven Estates?
But just the other day, Anya was wearing his robe in his presidential suite.

A belly full of questions churned inside her. She was about to ask when his phone buzzed.
He reached into his trouser pocket to retrieve it. With only the thin fabric separating them, she felt his hand brush against her and immediately pushed at him again.
“It’s Grandma. Don’t move.”
Liana had no choice but to be still.
Elian couldn’t resist leaning in to press another soft kiss to her lips.
The setting was just too perfect.
But he didn’t dare go too far. She’d get triggered.
If she puked again because of his kiss, he might as well just disappear.
“Is my granddaughter-in-law with you?” Rosalind’s voice came through clearly.
“She’s here,” Elian replied, feeling a surge of pride at the title “granddaughter-in-law” being used for her.
“Bring her home for dinner tonight. We need to discuss her birthday plans,” Rosalind instructed.
“Understood.”
He set the phone by her head, wanted to cuddle up again, then thought about radiation and quickly moved it farther away.
Then, both his hands came up to gently stroke her long hair. “Grandma wants us for dinner tonight,” he murmured.
“Did she say why?”
“She just got out of the hospital. Said the house is too quiet, wants some life brought back into it,” he stated with utmost seriousness.

Liana believed him for a moment, but quickly snapped back to reality. “When are you taking me to file the divorce?”
“In the next couple of days. Don’t rush me,” Elian replied after a thoughtful pause of two seconds.
Liana frowned at him.
She was rushing him?
The divorce talk had started back in the summer. Now Christmas was practically around the corner. He kept saying “soon,” but she was still Mrs. Locke.
“Liana?”
“Hmm?”
“Can you try not to get triggered?” Elian asked in a low, almost pained voice.
Liana looked at him, confused. Triggered?
“Don’t get nauseous every time I kiss you,” he elaborated patiently, seeing her confusion.
Liana immediately felt awkward, averting her gaze. “That’s not something I can control.”
“What if I don’t kiss your mouth?” he asked, his voice strained with restraint.
Something about his husky tone suddenly felt off to Liana. As she was trying to figure it out, felt a distinct sensation against her lower abdomen…
“Elian, get up!”
“Other couples have goodbye sex before they divorce,” he protested, sounding genuinely wronged.
“You… get off me!” Liana pushed at him with all her might.
But it was useless.
He had her pinned. His lips trailed a path downward from her neck.

That evening, Liana was dropped off at the Locke Manor. Elian headed straight to the club.
Xander saw him arrive late. “What held you up?”

:
“Theo has a fever,” Elian said, taking a seat. “I asked you all here because I need a favor.”
“Elian, are you getting a divorce?” Jett blurted out eagerly.
“Why would I divorce? To marry Anya?” Elian turned a cold gaze toward him.

Jett’s face instantly lost all color, a raw panic crawling up his neck like he’d been found out about him and Anya.
“Anya would have been a suitable match,” Jett said, but the confidence had drained from his voice.
Xander and Nathan both shot him a look. They’d told him to keep his mouth shut multiple times. It was infuriating how he never listened.
“My wife’s birthday is tomorrow. If anything goes wrong, the full responsibility lies with the Baird family,” Elian declared, leaning back in his chair, his imposing presence and gaze a clear threat.
It was a warning. Jett felt the murderous intent radiating from Elian.
Like if he dared pull anything, his entire family would pay.
“So you have arrangements for tomorrow night?” Xander asked, steering the conversation back
on track, seeing Jett was about to have a heart attack.
“Yes.”
“Elian, do you actually like Liana?” Jett couldn’t help asking again after hearing Elian’s plans, his tone laced with resentment.
“If I don’t like her, should I like you?” Elian fired back.
Jett didn’t dare ask more. Only after Elian had left did he find his voice again.
“But what about Anya? Marrying Elian has been her lifelong wish.”
