His Plump Mate (by Buchanan) novel Chapter 112

Chapter 112

Austin POV

As soon as Rebel finished speaking, Alpha Kaden and I raised our hands at the same and yelled, “ATTACK!”

Immediately, both sides clashed against each other. My target is Alpha Kaden. There is no way I’m letting him get to Rebel. I see her fighting two of the Blue Moon warriors. Rising Moon is battling Blue Moon warriors as well.

I just finished ripping through two more warriors, advancing closer to that fucker Kaden. That’s when I hear howls coming from the Eastern and Western borders. Renz and Jessup both alert me that they have rogues. This fucker brought with rogues with him. Thank you, Moon Goddess, for telling me to reinforce those borders.

I’m shredding through Blue Moon warriors and I don’t see Rebel. ‘Who has eyes on Luna?’

‘I’m here Austin.’ I see her and continue fighting.

‘Stay close darling.’ I say as I slice through another warrior.

We keep fighting and it seems like for every warrior we kill, two more appear. It’s never ending. Finally, I see Alpha Kaden, and he is looking directly at Rebel. Oh, hell no. I charge towards him and he sees me and smiles. He extends his claws and slices at my left arm.

“NO!” Rebel screams.

Reid jumps in, and Alpha Kaden starts fighting Reid. The way he is fighting, you wouldn’t know he is an older

wolf. He is fast.

Cronos heals my arm as I’m fighting, and I start fighting against Kaden. I swipe at him across his chest, slashing through his armor. For the first time, I see the smug look on his face falter. I will kill this bastard for trying to take what’s mine. I go to swing again and he moves back before shifting. He was so quick, I didn’t have a chance to shift completely. I duck and swipe at his underbelly but only grazed him. It was not deep enough to gut him.

I pull a shift and Cronos takes charge snapping his jaw on Kaden’s hind leg. Kaden kicks me off and then tries to pounce on me and bite my neck. Cronos kicks him off with his hind legs and jumps on his back biting down on his back. I don’t know what it is, but he is still quick, even though I have delivered blows that should have

weakened him.

Suddenly, he jumps to attack me again, and this time, Cronos ducks and latches on to his hind leg again, and this time I feel it dislocate. Kaden let’s out a howl and starts limping. He turns to run and I start going after him. Just as I am getting ready to attack again, I hear Rebel scream, “ARGGGGHHH!”

I stop and turn and see four wolves on my mate. She is fighting hard, but one of the warriors just swiped her back. I race after her and throw one of the wolves off of her and snap the neck of the other. Meanwhile, Rebel pulls a shift and Roxie appears. The wolf that slashed her back fell backwards and Roxie became a predator, growling as she inched towards the wolf. She lunged at him and ripped his head clear off his shoulders.

My mate is fearless, but she is injured. I want to get her out of here but almost as if she can sense my thoughts she barks at me, ‘I’m not going any damn where.’

When she turns, Kaden’s Beta is now attacking her. She starts snarling and snapping her jaws at him. ‘Go! I got this asshole, Austin!’

‘I’m not leaving you!’ I tell her.

I start fighting other wolves, pissed that Kaden got away. Before long though, We have taken out well over half his warriors. I see something out the corner of my eye as I rip through another wolves. It looks like another woman, but I can’t be sure.

‘Stay alert! Someone is hiding in the trees.’ I send through the link.

Rebel tears through Kaden’s beta. He is still giving her a fight, but I can tell by the way she is fighting that she is bored of him. She decides to end it by clamping on his back and crushing his spine. When he screams out, Roxie snaps his neck. The beta is dead.

Some of the warriors let out a howl of sorrow at losing their beta as they kept fighting. I could care less though. I want them all of them dead. Roxie pulls a shift and Rebel is by my side fighting again. This time we are fighting together.
