His Plump Mate (by Buchanan) novel Chapter 113

Chapter 113

Reid and Rising Moon have been fighting alongside us this entire time. I look at her back briefly and notice Roxie already healed her. That gives me a sense of relief. I haven’t felt any tethers snap either. That is a good feeling. I haven’t lost anyone yet.

I turn to fight another wolf,as Rebel is fighting, and I feel a sense of dread come over me. I snap the neck of the wolf in my hands and turn to see Rebel is missing. ‘Who has eyes on Luna!’

‘Austin!’ I hear Rebel’s panicked voice.

‘Rebel, where are you?!’ I’m looking all over the place, killing wolves as I rush past, trying to find my mate.

“MORGANA! RELEASE MY GRANDDAUGHTER!” I hear Reid scream out.

I follow his line of sight and see that Rebel is wrapped in silver rope and standing beside a woman. The woman I saw in the trees. I growl racing towards her, but she flicks her hand and sends me flying back.

“Reid, long time no see.” She says calmly but with and undertone of venom in her address. “Didn’t I tell you that one day you would regret casting me out?”

“Release my granddaughter Morgana, or so help me I swear on the Moon Goddess I will rip your heart out myself.” Reid snarls.

All the while, Rebel is mind linking me, ‘Austin. No matter what happens, I love you and I am yours. I will find my way back to you.’

She knows she is about to be taken. I can’t lose her. I start charging at Morgana again, and again, I’m sent flying backwards. The howl of retreat can be heard and Morgana starts laughing, “Reid, Austin, this has been a blast, but Rebel and I have an important date with Alpha Kaden and a Luna Ceremony to conduct.”

Her heckling laugh suddenly disappears like a cloud of smoke and Rebel vanishes with her.

“NOOO!” I scream “REBEL!!!!”

Rebel POV

I feel a wave a nausea as I fall into a cave. That witch teleported us. I have no idea where I am. ‘Roxie, are you okay?’

‘Rebs, silver should weaken us. I think this is another gift. I don’t think silver affects us. Keep your mind link open, until we feel Austin or anyone that will hear and feel us.’

‘Thank the Moon Goddess for this gift. I’m glad it’s showing up now.’ I tell her.

“Well, well, well, Rebel.” I hear the witch say, “You certainly look like your mother. Although, a bit thicker than her when she was alive.”

“What’s your point, bitch?” I spat at her.

“No point. It’s a shame you will end up dying like she did. At the hands of her Alpha.” She responded.

“What are you talking about? My mother died giving birth to me.” I said.

She threw her head back and started laughing, “My, you really are clueless. You father killed your mother. He accused her of cheating on him.” She continued, “I only know this because I was hired by the man who asked me to set up the illusion.”

“You lie!” I snarled.

“I don’t lie about my best work. That was one of the best illusions I ever conjured up.” She said with an evil smile.

“Then who hired you?” I asked her. I could taste my hatred for this woman. If what she is saying is true, I will avenge my mother. 1

She huff, “You are not in any position to question or demand anything from me,” she said, “Right now, we are waiting for Alpha Kaden.”

“Where are we?” I ask her.

“Well, we are in a cave, well past the Western border of Blackstone. There are several here, and Alpha Kaden picked this one just for you. Once he arrives, I will leave you two, to get better…acquainted.” She smirked, “You should probably rest. I’m sure Alpha Kaden won’t let you rest for a while once you too are alone.”

I feel a wave of panic. I will not let this bastard do anything to me. I need to figure out an escape plan and I need to figure it out quickly.
