I take a deep breath and nod, then look at Austin. He doesn’t seem upset. That helps me calm down. It would crush me if he was disappointed. “Dr. Hadley, you mentioned birth control during the beginning of this pregnancy. Would you still recommend that treatment or do you recommend something different?”

“We can discuss different birth control options. Let’s do that next week. For now, I want to check your blood work and see how your recovery is going. If it looks good, I can discharge you to the pack house. But you will need to take it easy, Luna.”
