Thalia POV

I went to get a manicure and pedicure with Mia. She’s a bridesmaid after all. I took the opportunity to use that excuse and I met with Canary and Sin. I explained what I needed and told them to come earlier and to leave their car for Mia and me. Once I get to the warehouse, I would switch vehicles and they would get their car back.

By the time everyone realizes that Mia and I were gone, it would be too late. I told mom to keep my father distracted with wedding guests and not to come to check on us until just before the wedding was supposed to start. By then, Mia and I will have a two hour head start. Not to mention that we are going to throw off our scent to everyone there.

Three hours before the escape is supposed to be executed; I started preparing. I managed to sneak Canary and Sin in last night. My mother brought us breakfast and we got started once Mia came into the room!

I pulled out the dresses. I gave Canary my wedding dress and Sin the bridesmaid dress. They are roughly our size, which is why I chose them. I pulled out the wigs and started with their disguises. Theirs didn’t need to be perfect. I just needed everyone to think it was us.

Next, I worked on Mia. I had to change her facial features altogether. Once that was done, I put her in a dark blond wig. I did her makeup in such a way, that no one would recognize her. Then I had her wear extra padding in her breasts and hips. When she was done, she looked at herself in the mirror.

“Damn, sis! This looks realistic. Later, you are going to have to tell me how you learned all this, in detail.” Mia said as I’m putting on my prosthetics. I changed my cheekbones, brow lines and added extra weight to my chin to change the shape of my face. I’m working double time to complete my look.

When I am done, Mia looks at me in shock. Canary and Sin are smiling. “I just learned a new technique from you today, Kabar. That chin implant is a great idea.” Canary said.

“Thanks, Canary. Now you and Sin remember the plan, right?” I asked.

“Yup. We have everything ready and in position. Also, the bags you wanted to take with you are in the backseat of our car.” Sin said.

“Ladies, thank you so much. As soon as I reach the hotel, I will wire the second half of the money.” I said.

“Okay. It’s show time. Let’s do this. Mia, you walk with me; smile and just agree with me. That’s all you need to do, got it?”

Mia looks at me nervously, “Got it.”

There is a knock at the door, “Who is it?”

“Thalia, it’s me.” My mom called.

I look at Canary and she opens the door. My mom slips in and looks shocked. “Oh my Goddess. You all look the part. It’s time. Are you all ready?”

“We are ready, ma.” I said and she does a double take of how I look and Mia.

“My beautiful daughters, when you leave, don’t look back. Live your life fully. Promise me.” My mother said.

“We promise.” Mia and I both said.

Then she turns to Canary and Sin, “Ladies, thank you for helping my daughters.”

“No problem. We love Kabar. Best damn colleague we have worked with.” Sin said. and Canary agreed.

Looking at Canary and Sin, she said, “In about one hour, I’m going to tell your father that you and Mia wanted a moment to yourselves by the water. He will see you both walking there and think nothing of it. If I know my husband, you might have ten minutes.”

“We only need five ma’am.” Canary said.

“We will slip out the front three minutes after you leave, ma.” I said, trying not to cry. I wish she would have came with Mia and me. I’m scared to leave her by herself. I look at Canary and Sin. “As soon as the door closes, set your wrist watch.”
