His Plump Mate (by Buchanan) novel Chapter 263

Chapter 263

My mom leaves the room, “Timers set.”

“Let’s move.”

I give Mia a pair of flats. I put mine on and grabbed a purse. I tucked a knife in my leg holster under my dress and then left everything in the room sterile. My timer goes off, I look at Canary and Sin. “Good Luck.” Then I looked at Mia, “Let’s go.”

I look out the door of my bedroom and see the all clear. Mia and I quickly but quietly get downstairs. We walked out the front door and one of my father’s guards stops us. “Where are you heading to?”

In the best jersey accent I could summon, “Oh, honey. Can you believe, my friend and I left our wedding gift in the car? There are two, so we came to get them for the gift table before the wedding starts.”

“Go ahead.” He said.

“Such a handsome doll. Thank you honey!” said and pulled Mia with me. We walk down two blocks at I unlock the car with the remote and we slip into the front seats. I take a look at the rearview mirror and see no one is following us. I start the car and drive to the warehouse.

“I can’t believe they didn’t recognize us, Thalia.”

“I can. I’ve been doing this a long time, sis.” I said.

We are happy to escape but sad that our mom stayed behind. She insisted and if I ever get the opportunity to get her out of there, I will go back for her.

Once we got to the warehouse, I moved our bags to the other car and we drove off quickly. I grab the burner phone I left in my getaway car and dial my Tio.

“Dr. Moreno, how can I help you?”

“Tio, we just left. We are on the way to you now.”

“Thank the Goddess. Call me when you get to the hotel tonight.”

“Will do, Tio.” I hung up and kept driving. It’s nine at night when we reach the hotel.

I pull off the wig and prosthetics and wipe off the makeup. Then I reach into my bag for a fake ID.

“You have a fake ID?” Mia asked.

“And fake passports, birth certificates, and everything else we might need in the

future. I have a set for you too. For right now we only need mine. I need to check us into the hotel.”

I go to the check-in counter, get keys for Mia and me and we head up with our bags. Once in the room, I check my burner phone. There are two messages. The first is from Canary, ‘All went as planned.’

The second came from Sin, ‘You should have seen their faces. CLASSIC!’

I smiled and messaged them both back. ‘I’m glad it worked out and you both are safe. I’m wiring the money to you now.’

I opened my laptop and wired twenty grand to each of them and then disconnected from all platforms. I’m going dark, so I am now offline and free from that life. My money is in a private account that no ones knows about and my phone is not connected to the Moreno family at all. Mia also left her phone behind and all her money was put into another private account. I helped her set up. We withdrew everything in cash and then deposited it into the new account. It wasn’t much, only about ten grand, but still, it’s hers.

Next I called my Tio again. “Thalia?”

“Hey, we are at the hotel. We will be leaving as soon as the sun breaks instead of late morning. Then we will be there by the afternoon.”

“Okay. Call me if there are any problems along the way.”

“I will. Good night, Tio.”
