When we get to our table, I pull out a chair for Thalia and my brother Isaiah pulls out

“I called a couple of my colleagues. I disguised Mia and myself as blondes with Jersey accents. We walked right out the front door and to our car. My two colleagues went to the back of the estate two hours later and then they stripped out of the wedding and bridesmaid dress. They went to the private beach next door and pretended to lay out on the beach. They gave the guards bad information and they followed that lead. But Mia and I were gone two hours earlier. The distraction bought us hours of lead way.” She explained.

“And you drove all the way here?” My dad asked.

“Yes. We stopped at a hotel the first night and then left early the next morning.

“So, knives?” Isaiah said.

“Tina gave me tea with an aphrodisiac in it. Reid and I suspected something was up. I gave it to Raul and he confirmed it.” I said.

“I’m taking care of it today, dad.”

“I’ll be with him, Austin.” Thalia said.

Rory started growling, “Was that bitch trying to trap you into making her the Luna?”

I told everyone that it would be okay. After breakfast, I asked Isaiah and Thalia to accompany me to my office. On the way there, I mind linked Tina to come see me in

Once we got to my office, I opened my laptop and pulled up the results. I printed out a copy and got it ready. Meanwhile, Isaiah is asking Thalia all kinds of questions about her background and music she likes and at what age did she learn how to fight with knives.

I don’t get in the middle because I want everyone to get to know her and it’s helping me get to know her. I also want her to feel comfortable around my family, since it is now her family too.

After a few minutes of easy conversation, there is a knock at the door. “Come in.” I said.
