His Plump Mate (by Buchanan) novel Chapter 282

Chapter 282

Aiden POV

7

“I’m not crazy. I’m a mother trying to secure her daughter’s future!” She said with a raised voice.

“ENOUGH!” I snarled. Honestly, this woman thinks the world should just conform around her. “Rose, are you aware that two omegas have lost their jobs and have been sent away because you persuaded them to join in your betrayal? Do you not see that your daughter and husband have been under house arrest alongside you for YOUR actions?”

“If it would have helped my daughter, then I don’t care, Alpha. She is destined to be a Luna. It has always been her dream, and I want her to achieve her dreams. She is a wonderful young woman

“With a terrible and unremarkable mother.” I said cutting her off. “Let me be clear, your actions have earned you banishment from our pack. Specifically, you. Your husband and daughter may stay, but you, you are no longer welcome in this pack, Rose. Until your mate can find a suitable place to send you, I am ordering that you be taken to a cell. Since you have no remorse, that makes you a danger to my Luna and me. Guards!” I called out.

Finally, her eyes widened as she realized that she is being held accountable for her actions. “Are you serious right now, Alpha?”

“As death. As a former warrior, you know that it is considered treason to drug your Alpha. I could have you executed. Consider yourself lucky that I’m being merciful, only because I didn’t drink the tea. Had I drunk the tea and something unscrupulous would have happened, you would be dead right now.” I turn to the guard, “Take her to the dungeons. She is to remain there until her mate finds another pack for them to go live.”

She starts screaming and pulling. She is a former warrior, so she is fighting back. I stand up and push my aura out to her. “I am Alpha Commanding you to leave quietly and obediently to the dungeons. You will sit in your cell with making a disturbance or trying to escape.” I said.

She tries to fight the command, but in the end, she is sent on her way and she goes quietly. After she is gone, I turn to Darryl and Tina. “Both of you may not have had anything to do with what happened, however, I would tread lightly. I want to be clear that my mate is the rightful Luna. She deserves respect from everyone in the pack and that would include the two of you as well. So, is it going to be a problem to respect my Luna or will I need to send you both away as well?”

Darryl speaks first, “No. We respect you and your mate, Alpha. I had no idea these things were happening under my roof, but I assure you, it will not continue. If you want me to go with my mate, I am willing to go. Tina is a grown woman, and she can decide to come with us or stay here in this pack.”

“Alpha, I would like to stay.” Tina said quietly.

“If you stay here, I expect for both of you to respect your Alpha and Luna. I have no issues with either of you, unless you give me a reason to have an issue. Since there is nothing else, I suggest you go and think about your next steps. Let me know what you decide.”

“Am I still under house arrest, Alpha?” Tina asked me.

“No. You and your father are free to leave the house and join pack functions.” I said. ” You may leave.”

“Thank you, Alpha.” Darryl said.

After they left the room, Isaiah asks me, “Do you think it’s a good idea letting them stay if they decide not to leave with that horrible woman?”

“I’m being fair. As long as they don’t break any pack laws they are welcome to stay. I don’t think Darryl will though. It’s hard being away from your mate. I suspect that Tina will stay though.”

“As long as you are happy with your decision. If it were me, I wouldn’t let them stay.” Isaiah said.

“If they try anything, they are out.” I said, “Now, I’m going to find my Luna and spend some time with her.” I finished, smiling.

“I wonder if Mia will be my mate.” Isaiah said and I stopped walking.

I raise an eyebrow at him, “You like Mia?”
