‘Finally. You are facing everything. It’s about damn time.’ Nyx said in my Leon is one happy wolf right now. I bet he’s as hot as our mate.’

My eyes widened and I gasped and Aiden saw it. I told him I heard Nyx. I see that mega-watt, all white teeth smile.

“Nyx, can you hear me?” Aiden asks.

‘Yes, I hear him. You haven’t shifted yet, Thalia. But you are going to, really soon.

Terror runs through my entire body, and Aiden senses it. “Baby, what’s wrong?”

“She can hear you and says you’re hot and bets Leon is too. She says I’m going to shift really soon, Aiden.”

“How soon?” Aiden asked.

“Tell him after the sun sets, you will shift. Also, this will not be an easy shift. I’ve been suppressed for too long.’

“She says my shift won’t be easy, but it will happen after the sun sets.” I tell him.

“We need to go talk to my dad. Baby, I haven’t told him about your past. I will need to tell him everything, so he understands about Nyx.” He said. He stands up and helps me up. My body is sore, in a good way. I see Aiden smirk, “I like you being sore, baby. It means I took good care of you last night. Let’s go shower.”

‘He took very good care of you.’ Nyx said purring in my mind, and it made me blush.

Aiden is leading me to the bathroom and catches the blushing, “What is Nyx saying?”

I blush again and look down, “She agrees that you took very good care of me last night.”

He chuckles, “I love taking care of you, baby” He says as he pulls me into his arms and rubs my back. As he rubs my back, he stiffens.

“What is it?” I said looking at him.

“Turn around.” He said.

When I do, I feel Aiden’s hands all over my back. “Baby, your scars. The whip marks and burns; they are all gone. Nyx must have healed them.”

I whipped around and looked at Aiden. He is smiling and looks at me like I’m a marvel. I ran past him to the closet to see myself in the mirror. The burns from the front are gone and when I turn to see my back, all the scars are gone. Every last one

of them.

‘Nyx?’

‘Yeah, they are healed up now. I told you; I’m coming. You are more powerful than you realize, Thalia.’

I started crying. I cry my relief, happiness, and amazement. ‘What about the gash?’ I asked.

‘Unfortunately, that one was done with silver. That scar is permanent. I’m still a wolf, and silver still hurts us.’

Aiden followed me in the closet and saw me crying. He puts his arms around me and kisses the top of my head. “Are those happy tears?”

“Yes. Nyx healed everything, except the gash. She said because it was done with silver, it’s permanent. But everything else, she healed.” I said.

“Thank you, Nyx.” Aiden said and for the first time, there is a low growl that comes from my chest.

Aiden looks at me curiously. “That doesn’t normally happen until after you shift. I have a feeling Nyx is very, very special.”

We shower and go down for breakfast. Austin and Rebel are waiting for us at our normal spot and I hug them. “Aiden said you will be shifting my sun set. Congratulations on getting your wolf, Thalia.” Austin said.

I smiled and I know I’m beaming, “Thank you!”

We sit down and Aiden says he would like us all to go to the office after breakfast to talk about my wolf, as this is a unique situation.

“Should we ask my Tio to come too? Maybe he has insight?” I asked.

“I think that would be a good idea. Plus, it may be good to have him during the shift, based on what we know.”

“Okay.” I said, and I am still feeling giddy.

After breakfast, Aiden, Austin, Rebel, my Tic and I go to the office. Once we are all situated, Aiden starts the conversation.
