Aiden POV

Thalia is ready to shift and so is Rory. These two are definitely not going. I step up and start with Rory.

“Sis, you’re pregnant and can’t shift. You can’t go.” Then I turn to Thalia, “Mojito, you don’t know the layout of the traps. I can’t have you getting hurt. I promise I will show it to you and walk it with you, but for now, stay with Rory.”

Thalia crosses her arms, “Excuse me? I want to take it out of their hides, Aiden.”

She is cute when she is mad. Her eyebrows furrow and she looks like a pissed off kitten. I f my lips twitch, “Baby, I know you do, but I won’t risk you getting hurt. Please stay. I prom you will have your day of reckoning. Stay with Rory and watch through the monitors. We w be back soon, okay?” I finished while bringing her in for a hug which she clearly doesn’t want and it makes me chuckle.

“I don’t think it’s fair.” Thalia said.

Then Rory speaks up, “Neither do I!” She huffed.

Jonah wraps his arms around Rory, “Sweetheart, you know you can’t shift. We want to scare them. You are starting to show. You know you have to stay.” He says and smiles indulgently at my sister.

I seriously don’t know how Jonah handles my sister. She’s a pain in the ass with me. Jonah could be a saint just for knowing how to deal with Rory alone.

“Okay, Isaiah, gather about twenty-five warriors Jonah and I will start heading out to the trap site.” I said. Then as Isaiah leaves, I looked at Thalia. I need to placate her so I pull the maps out, “Mojito, these are the border maps. The security details are outlined. Familiarize yourself with them. When I get back, we will go over all of it.”

“Are these security cameras?” She asks.

“Yeah.” I said, feeling proud of myself for upgrading the pack as much as I have.

Then she looks at me and grins knowingly. “Oh, we can do much better than this plan. I will look at it and I will have notes for you to review when you get back. I may need to bring Canary and Sin in here too, is that okay?”

Shit, if this keeps her from being mad at me, she can bring in whoever she wants. “Sure. I will have one of the omegas send bring them here.”

“Okay. I’ll get started.” She kisses me, “Leon, take care of my mate.”
