His plump mate (Rebel and Austin) by Buchanan novel Chapter 551

Julian POV

“Alpha Julian, I have news about Black Enterprises.”

“Speak,” I ordered.

“Paul Black’s ex-wife has assumed the role of CEO. Her husband is the Deputy CEO.”

“How? There is a board. They voted her in? What the hell is Birch doing?”

“Birch and Satterwhite are both arrested and in the custody of the FBI. The IRS is also involved.”

“Come again?”

“Mrs. Willis had all the dirt on those two regarding the embezzlement. Mrs. Whitaker called to tell me. She also knows about the prostitution ring, though she didn’t give any information to the FBI about it.”

I growled. “Son of a bitch! We needed that supply chain!”

“I understand, but Mrs. Willis had them removed, and they had to sign over the shares to her mate.”

“So now they are the biggest shareholders of Black Enterprises? Fuck!”

I swiped all the contents on my desk to the floor. I haven’t found the hacker. I haven’t been able to get Mia or Rodrigo. The docks are still not in my control. Now the supply chain I need has been dismantled. Plus, the women in my hold are now at risk of being discovered. Paul is nowhere to be found. Neither is Kaia’s father. Plus, Ronan decided to go dark, and no one can find his ass. All the carefully laid pieces I have been putting together are becoming dismantled, piece by piece.

I don’t even have the tool I need because Heath put more emphasis on science than security and basically lost his fucking pack. I don’t have the tool, the catalyst for the tool, the supplies, or the people in place. What the fuck is happening?!

“Get Mrs. Whitaker here. I want her to explain everything that happened during that meeting.”

“Yes, Alpha.”

I run my fingers through my hair. I have delegated parts of my plan to people who are utterly useless. I’m going to have to get involved personally again. If not, everything will be lost.
