Chapter 9-2

I miss my girl so fucking much and want her back in my arms.

I plan to check the place out, and if it is her, then I’ll never let her go again.

When we finally landed at the airport, we got off of the jet, and I talked to our contact at this airport. They will make sure that our jet is taken care of like they usually do.

After our stuff is loaded into the back of the SUVS that Dad sent for us, we load up. Now that we’re on our

way, I call Dad to find out where they are at.

“Hey, old man, we just landed at the airport. We’re in the SUVS now and are heading back towards town.

Where are you guys at, and did you find River yet? I need to know what to tell our drivers.” I told him.

“Hey, son, yeah, we found her. She’s at the hospital now, so head that way. She’s in surgery now. She was

shot. And she was also dragged across the ground a few times. So they’re checking her head as well. And

she is covered in cuts and bruises from where they dragged her. When we got to her, they had her in a

dark, damp, and dusty basement. That caused her to have a panic attack, and right after Dom got her and brought her outside to us, she passed out. Now, it’s just a waiting game. We have to wait for her to come

out of surgery and to see how long it takes for her to wake up.” Dad told me.

“Ok, Dad. We’ll head to the hospital to wait then. How is the prospect that was shot protecting her? Is he

going to be ok?” I asked him.

I know how much River likes the guy. Dallas has become a best friend to her over the last few months.

“He’s still in surgery right now. But he woke up on the way to the hospital. He signed papers that gave Red,

Venom, and River permission to be able to find out what was going on and how he was. He doesn’t want

his family contacted at all, and I don’t blame him. He was really worried about River when Red talked to

him before they took him to surgery. He sees her as a little sister to him.” He said.

“I know they have become really close. I hope that he’ll be ok. And I’m hoping that you caught the bastards

that did this to the both of them. I would really like to rip their balls off and shove them down their throat

for hurting my baby sister,” I said.

“In time, son, in time,” is all that dad said back. And I took that to mean that they had the mother fuckers.

And that we would get our chance to play with them. I couldn’t wait.

“I know, I know. Anyway, we’re heading to the hospital. Do you need me to pick anything up? We can stop and get food or anything else if you need us to,” I told him.

“No, we’re all good, son. Some of the old ladies brought us all food. Just get you and your brothers here. Your sister could use the support,” he said.

“We’ll be there soon,” I told him, and then hung up.

I passed the news on to my brothers as we headed to the hospital. All that we could do now was to hope
