How to Train Your Ex-Billionaire novel Chapter 231

Yvan pocketed his phone, exasperated. "Winifred, what will it take for you to believe me?"

"Why are you so insistent? Yvan, we're not a couple."

"Why not? You said you missed me earlier today."

"Yvan, has it only been a day and you've already forgotten what I told you?" Winifred scoffed. "When I said I missed you, I meant I missed sleeping with you."

Yvan was speechless.

He suddenly pulled her into an embrace, his voice husky in her ear. "Then let me give you what you want."

Winifred regretted her blunt words the moment they left her mouth. Now, hearing Yvan take her seriously and tease her, she felt a flush of embarrassment.

She feigned annoyance and shoved him away. "Another woman just had her arms all over you. I find it disgusting."

"So, I should go wash up?"

"Do whatever you want. It's none of my business," Winifred retorted, pulling her suitcase into the bedroom and starting to unpack.

Yvan wasn't sure what she meant, but said anyway, "Then wait for me."

Winifred didn't answer, but a faint blush crept onto her cheeks.

Yvan quickly headed out, went back to his place for a quick shower and to brush his teeth, then returned wearing a robe.

Winifred's door wasn't closed, just left ajar. It was a clear sign that she was expecting him.

Suppressing his excitement, Yvan stepped inside.

He didn't see Winifred in the room, but he could hear the sound of running water from the bathroom.

She must be taking a shower.

The sound of the water made Yvan's heart race with anticipation.

He tried his best to calm down, telling himself not to be as nervous as last time.

Last time, he was too excited and anxious, and his body hadn't fully recovered, so his performance was less than satisfactory.

This time, he was determined to perform well and show Winifred he wasn't just all talk.

Just then, the water stopped. A moment later, Winifred walked out barefoot, wrapped in a bath towel.

She was startled to see Yvan sitting on the edge of her bed. "Why did you come in without knocking?"

"No more," she said, her voice a little hoarse, which only served to arouse him further.

"Well, was I good?"

Winifred was speechless.

Men!

Last time she casually mentioned he wasn't up to par, and now he had gone overboard trying to prove himself.

"Tell me, was I good?" Yvan persisted, like a puppy begging for praise.

Winifred couldn't take it anymore and quickly relented. "You were amazing. Even better than seven years ago."

Seven years ago, they were both inexperienced and clumsy. But even then, Yvan had kept her up almost all night, leaving her unable to get out of bed the next day.

"So, are you satisfied?" he asked, kissing her cheek.

"…Mm."

A smirk played on Yvan's lips as he flipped her over. "Now it's my turn."
