Chapter 105 The Sabotage
Lira’s POV:
Once the auction stuff was over, there were basically no more big calls I had to make for the company.
I trusted Serena and the rest to handle all the daily management. I went back to school to be a regular “Omega” student.
It had been over a month since I last saw Kael. We hadn’t talked once.
I figured he had to be swamped as the Lycan King. And I made a point not to reach out to him first.
Even though I knew my feelings for him were shifting–slowly pulling me in–I still had to get revenge on the Brookstone Pack, and I had the responsibility of being the alpha heir to the Hidmoon Pack…
I had too many missions to wrap up. I couldn’t just jump into a relationship.
One day, I’d just walked out of Smith High School when Serena called–something was up with the company.
I hightailed it over.
On the drive over, I got the basics: someone posted a bunch of trash about Four Seasons Group online.

Chapter 105 The Sabotage
I looked at their serious faces and joked, “Did the company go under or what? You took the words ending.
“Trust me, it’s no biggie. Chill out”
Serena gave me a playful glare. “You’re still laughing? You have no idea how bad online bullying ge rumor could tank the reputation we worked so hard to build.
“With how everywhere the internet is now, even a little bad talk can blow up like a butterfly effec
Back when I was in the Brookstone Pack, I got attacked online nonstop because I was an alpha’s dangers who awakened an Omega–level wolf spirit.
I knew exactly how powerful online bullying could be.
So there’s no way I’d let myself or my employees get stuck in this mess again!
This time, I already had a plan in mind.
I stayed calm and said, “Don’t worry, I get it. We know it’s all made–up rumors–what’s there to be scared of?
“If someone’s helping us get more famous, why not use this chance to promote ourselves? Danger always comes with opportunities.”
Serena shook her head helplessly at my confidence.
I didn’t explain more. Soon enough, she’d see I wasn’t lying and I wasn’t just being cocky.
I flipped through the info Serena gave me. When I saw a familiar name, I scoffed in annoyance. “That Rick’s such an idiot. If he’s gonna come after me, he should pick a more hidden middleman. He had his secretary contact these guys directly–like he’s shouting to everyone he’s behind this!”
Serena said quietly, “Yeah, I checked that guy. He is Rick’s secretary…but I bet he’s not anymore.”
After I finished reading the info, I sneered, “Rick’s got no real smarts, just little tricks. He’s sneaky and super cautious. So even if this guy did all this because Rick talked him into it, Rick will get rid of him in the end.”
Serena’s eyes lit up–she got it right away. She nodded excitedly. “I know what to do!”
That’s the tacit understanding we built back in the Hidmoon Pack. Most of the time, I didn’t need to say much, and she’d get what I meant.
Travis stared at us, confused, and asked anxiously, “Can you two just say it straight? I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Serena looked at his confused face and laughed. “Your brain’s only good for data. Don’t sweat this stuff.
Right then, someone knocked on the office door. Serena’s secretary rushed in, panicking. “Boss! The authorities just showed up for an inspection. Someone reported us!”
