Howl of Destiny Alpha Lira’s Legend
Chapter 104 The Aftermath
Third–Person Perspective:
Rick froze, totally shocked. He never saw Travis stopping the bidding coming.
That plot was nice, sure–but dropping one billion on one piece of land? It was totally not worth it.
And if he paid that one billion, his company would probably run out of cash. After all, he couldn’t get a single cent more from the Golder family.
But it was already done. He couldn’t back out without looking like a fool.
“Thanks for letting me have it,” Rick said, gritting his teeth to take it.
In the end, Rick bought that plot for one billion.
The rest of the auction was way chiller without Rick butting in.
Doing what Lira told him, Travis won four plots, adding up to 900 million.
Four Seasons Group totally stole the show at this auction. Everyone got a whole new sense of how much money they had.
After all, they spent nearly one billion without even flinching. You had to give Four Seasons props for their strength.
Everyone got even more curious about the mysterious CEO behind Four Seasons Group.
When the auction wrapped up, Lira left through the back door to stay out of trouble.
Paul stood up, walked over to Four Seasons‘ seat, and said to Travis, “You’ve got guts. Tell your CEO I want them to come by my estate sometime.”
With that, he left the venue with Michael.
Everyone around gasped. They never thought the person running Four Seasons knew the powerful Paul.
Rick stared at Travis with cold, dark eyes. He couldn’t figure out who the CEO of Four Seasons really was.
It didn’t add up–his dad knew the CEO, but he didn’t.
He clenched his fists, dead set on finding out who the mysterious CEO of Four Seasons Group was…
Back in the car, Lira had already taken off her assistant disguise.
Travis looked at her and smiled. “You’re really good at hiding. Not a single person in the room caught on
Lira smiled but didn’t say a word.
Travis suddenly thought of something, turned to her, and asked, “That plot Rick bought looks really good. Why’d you tell me to stop bidding against him?”

A sarcastic smile pulled at Lira’s lips. “That plot’s nice, yeah. Great area, pretty view–perfect for living. But only if you can actually build on it!”
Once it got taken over for a military base or a strategic buffer zone, that plot would be worthless.
Travis froze, confused. “Wait, is there something wrong with that plot?”
“Nothing is wrong with it” Lira smiled, not explaining any more…
Meanwhile, in a black car, Rick was yelling at his guys, “Find out who the CEO of Four Seasons Group is! Now!
“A tiny new company dares to look down on me? I wanna see who’s got the balls to do that!”
