Howl of Destiny: Alpha Lira’s Legend
Chapter 133 A Promise
Lira’s POV:
Kael stroked my back gently, smiling. “Took you long enough to figure that out.”
Finished
I looked up at him, grinning playfully. “Yeah, well. Since you love me this much, I’ll reluctantly pick you as my mate. That way, you won’t go around messing with other people.”
Kael pinched my nose softly, his voice doting. “Deal. Thank you for choosing me. Too bad you’re not 18 yet -we can’t bond officially.
“But it’s okay. I’ll wait. No matter if you meet your fated mate someday, mine will only be you.”
His words touched my heart. I hugged him tight, not saying a word-there was no need for words.
A few days after I got home, I got an email from school. Final grades were out. Sure enough, I got a perfect score again, topping the whole school. Even my wolf spirit combat score was really good this time.
I’d been taking exams as Lily this whole time. Ever since she went into my space and absorbed energy, she’d gotten a lot stronger-even for an Omega.
I also finalized the company’s new year plan with Serena and the others.
Kael had gone back to Thunder Pack, so I planned to head back to Hidmoon Pack to spend Christmas with Enid.
Before I left, I decided
to
Cat
Reginald to a meal.
After all, his family had helped Four Seasons Group a lot over the past six months-we couldn’t have grown so fast in Silverwhip Pack without them.
I picked a really popular restaurant and got there early to wait for him.
When Reginald arrived, he looked at the menu and smiled, impressed. “You really put in the work. This place is hard to get a reservation at.”
I took off my coat and set it on the chair next to me, smiling. “I had to do my homework to treat someone as important as you, Mr. Cox. I couldn’t just pick any random place.”
Reginald laughed loudly. “You’re too sweet with
your
words.”
After we ordered, I asked the server to bring a tea set.
Reginald teased me, “Since when did you learn to make tea? Did you go to Aeloria to study it specially?
I nodded a little. “I picked it up by chance. I know you like tea more than coffee, so I brought out my best stuff today.”
Reginald’s eyes lit up. “Oh? Then I’m lucky today.”
The server brought the tea ser I’d brought soon after.

I took out a water bottle from my bag, poured water into the teapot, and started boiling it. Then I took our
small bag of tea leaves and picked through them carefully.
I’d learned how to make tea from Enid. When she was young, she’d been invited to treat an alpha in the
Meloria Pack Alliance-and that’s where she learned tea art.
The tea leaves I brought today? I found them in the forest of my space. I’d brought some back to the real world, and they grew really well here.
I still remembered the first time I made this tea for Enid-she kept asking where I got the leaves. I made up some excuse to change the subject.
Today, I wanted to make this tea for Reginald to thank him for his help.
Reginald watched me the whole time, his eyes full of praise.
