After the person on the other end said something, his face turned even more serious. “Alright, I’ll be right there.”

He hung up the phone right away, stood up, and headed for the door.

As he passed the main hall, he called out to Randy, “Grandpa, something urgent came up. I gotta go. I’ll come see you when I have time.”

Before Randy could say a word, he was already out the door, moving fast.

Seth and the others looked at each other, totally confused–no one had a clue what was going

Ruth stared at Kael’s leaving back, a confused look flashing in her eyes.

She squeezed her hands tight and made a silent decision…

When he got back to his place, Kael took off his coat while asking Gary, “Did you find out everything?”

Gary followed right behind him, hurrying to hand over a tablet, respectful as ever. “Your Majesty, we found out. From the photo Ms. Krom posted on social media, we tracked the location to a valley next to the old forest where you got hurt.

“We only found out the valley’s called Valenor Valley, but it’s never open to the public–it’s like a forbidden zone.”

“Forbidden zone?” Kael frowned, confused. How did Lira get in there?

Gary nodded firmly. “Yes. That’s why we could never track down Ms. Krom’s exact location before.”

Ever since Kael told them to find Lira, they’d tried every trick in the book and still couldn’t pin down where she was. Turns out, she was in that mysterious forbidden zone all along.

Kael sat down on the sofa, relaxed but tense. He stared at the screen–photos Lira had posted on social media under the name “L.” When he saw all the comments, so many people gushing over her, even talking about owning her, his face turned dark. His fierce wolf eyes glowed. bright.

Gary spoke up carefully. “Your Majesty, don’t worry about those comments. Ms. Krom didn’t reply to a single one.”

Kael narrowed his eyes, annoyed. “Go make arrangements. We’re going to Valenor Valley

tomorrow.

“Forbidden zone or not–I’m gonna check it out myself.”

Lira’s POV:

The day after Christmas, I got up early and took Sun to the mountains to pick herbs.

It was early spring, but it was the perfect time for lots of rare herbs to ripen–I wasn’t gonna miss that.

Ever since I came to Hidmoon Pack, I’d walked through these mountains alone a lot. So I knew this valley like the back of my hand.

I picked an easy path to walk on. Along the way, I picked a bunch of herbs. They were pretty common, but they were all wild–so their medicinal value was really good.

Later, I’d take them to my lab in my space to make medicine. Mix them with the energy from

space and my dual wolf spirits‘ power, and they’d definitely save a lot of sick people.

As soon as we got to the thick part of the forest, Sun took off like a flash, running around happily. I smiled and shook my head, ignoring him, then bent down to look at the plants at my feet.

It was a young wild ginseng plant. Not as good as full–grown ginseng, but still pretty nice. I dug it up carefully and tossed it into my space right away.

I kept walking deeper into the mountains. Finally, I found a patch of rare golden silk the grass. I laughed, totally satisfied–finding this made the whole trip worth it.

I was about to head back when Sun suddenly ran out of the woods nearby. He grabbed the hem

Because I was worried someone might find us, I made a rule with Sun: he couldn’t speak. That’s why he was being so silly right now, pulling me instead.

I hesitated for a second and then followed Sun. He ran ahead, glancing back every now and then like he was scared I’d fall behind.

I walked slowly behind him—and was shocked to see so many rare, valuable herbs where he was leading me!

I got so excited that I picked him up and kissed him. Then I wasted no time, shoving all those herbs into my space.
