Chapter 190 The Prospective Mate

Lira Voss’s POV:

“I’ve been trying to find you for ages, but the Alpha King wouldn’t leak a single detail. When did you ge the Thunder Pack?”

He was still the same loud, energetic guy I remembered.

I offered him a small smile. “I got in yesterday. Just handling some business.”

I looked over at Vincent Blake, who was standing there like a statue. “What’s the matter, Vincent? Forget who I am?”

Vincent looked like he’d seen a glitch in the matrix. He couldn’t even form a sentence.

The guy standing next to him, Elias Vance, pointed at me in shock. “Wait, are you the Lira Krom we met two years ago?”

I nodded. “It’s been a while. I hope you’ve all been well.”

“We’re good. Wow, it really is you.” Vincent and the others sat down around us as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

When Elias saw Kael personally pouring a glass of water for me, his jaw nearly hit the floor. “My King… is

I’m seeing actually real?”

shot them a cold, murderous glare. “Ignore them, Lira. They’re just here to scavenge a free meal.”

He was clearly annoyed that his private date had been crashed.

But these guys weren’t just his subordinates; they were his childhood friends. He wasn’t going to actually use his Alpha King authority to kick them out.

Watching them interact was hilarious. I’d never seen Kael act this… petty.

I chuckled. “It’s fine. The more the merrier.”

I turned back to the guys. “Let’s re-introduce ourselves. My name is Lira Krom, and I’m Kael’s prospective mate. If he plays his cards right, I might actually let him mark me one day.”

The entire table went dead silent. Their mouths were literally hanging open.

They couldn’t wrap their heads around a “low-tier Omega” speaking to the Alpha King like that.

They kept looking back and forth between us, caught between total disbelief and the undeniable reality sitting right in front of them.

It was too much fun. I felt a surge of genuine amusement.
