Chapter 194 Blowing Off Steam
Lira Voss’s POV:
Ruby gave me a polished, superior smile. “Miss, my cousin has been in the industry for years because our family supports her.
“The Voss family runs the Brookstone Pack. Our company was founded by the original Alpha lineage. We aren’t exactly ‘nobody’ companies that people can just climb over.
“If Isla said something that offended you, don’t take it to heart. Consider this an introduction. Brookstone and the Thunder Pack are neighbors; we spend half our time here. My father is Andrew Voss, the current Alpha of Brookstone. If you ever need help, feel free to look me up.
She pulled a business card from her designer bag and held it out.
Watching Ruby’s ‘graceful’ performance made me want to applaud. She was just as calculating as her mother. It was that exact same ‘proper’ face that watched me get tortured for years.

I burst out laughing.
We went wild, hitting every game in the building. We played until the sun went down and the neon lights

of the city took over.
As we walked out, I looked at him, my heart full. “Kael, thank you. Today was… I really needed that.”
I knew what he was doing. He’d dropped his crown just to make me smile.
