Sherry patted Sophie’s shoulder. “Go on. Claim the glory that was always your!”
“Mm.”
Sophie nodded firmly, then rose to her feet.
The livestream camera immediately zoomed in on her–only for the audience to notice something strange.
From just behind Sophie, another figure in white slowly stood up and followed her toward the stage.
Gasps rippled through the hall, the crowd struck speechless.
Online, the livestream chat exploded.
‘Wait, what the hell? Two Lioras at once?‘‘
‘I thought Sophie just came to leech attention, but now she’s actually pretending to be Liora?‘
‘Isn’t that Lena trailing her? Didn’t she already embarrass herself last time with that “I’m Liora” stunt? And she’s back at it again?‘
‘Unbelievable. So now anyone can claim to be Liora? Damn it, I should’ve bought a ticket and faked it too!‘
Sophie wasn’t surprised when she saw Lena. Calm as ever, she stepped onto the stage.
Lena wore a white chiffon dress, styled like a cocktail gown, with extra fabric left loose around her stomach to emphasize her pregnancy. It gave her just the right “artsy” air.
By contrast, Sophie’s satin slip dress was plain, casual–as if she’d dressed for a stroll, not the world’s most prestigious art event.
“Uh, ladies…what exactly is going on here?”
The host was visibly rattled. Normally, mysterious judges were thoroughly vetted long before being revealed. This kind of fiasco simply didn’t happen.
“I’m Liora. She’s the fake.”
Lena’s voice was crisp and sure. To drive the point home, she grabbed the mic and repeated herself.
“I am the real Liora!”
A smirk flickered in Sophie’s eyes. “Got any proof?”
Brimming with confidence, Lena raised her phone and cast her account ontoe big screen.
“This is my account. My old followers know it’s officially verified. No way it’s ke.”
The crowd murmured. With such a strong piece of evidence, their gazes towa Sophie quickly soured.
Sophie chuckled lightly. “The Expo’s director has had my number for years. Is been contacting me by text this whole time-”
“If that’s true,” Lena cut in triumphantly, “then bring him out right now. Have him dial the number and let’s see whose phone rings.”
“Fine by me.” Sophie’s tone was cool.
Moments later, the Expo’s director jogged onto the stage.
He was dressed completely out of sync with the formal event–sports gear, sneakers, platinum–blond hair damp with sweat, like he’d been dragged

straight from a basketball court.
His features were strikingly sharp, amber eyes glowing under the lights, ever bit the picture of mixed–heritage allure.
The livestream chat lost its collective mind.
‘Somebody dig up everything on this guy in the next three minutes!‘
‘Wait, this handsome young man is the Expo director? I thought it’d be some old art snob. Family business, maybe?‘
‘Come on, this is France. Anyone who runs the Expo has to have serious backing. So he’s gorgeous and filthy rich? Unreal.‘
‘For the ten–thousandth time–I regret not getting tickets. Not only did I miss Libra’s reveal, I missed this walking masterpiece too!‘
Wiping sweat from his brow, the director–Julian Blake–glanced between Sophie and Lena.
The moment his amber eyes landed on Sophie, a spark lit up in them.
“You’re beautiful,” he said in flawless English. “Let’s hope when I make this call, it’s your phone that rings.”
The foreign edge in his accent vanished with those words.
Sophie inclined her head politely. “If nothing goes wrong, it should be.”
Julian dialed the number.
Ring, ring, ring…
The hall went silent, every ear straining for the sound.
Sophie’s lips curled in a faintly mocking smile. Her eyes slid toward Lena.
“Your phone’s ringing.”
All eyes turned to Lena. She felt the heat of the crowd’s gaze and basked in it, Hulling out her phone with a proud flourish.
“See, Sophie? What else do you have to say now?”
Her chin lifted high, arrogant as a princess. At this moment, she believed she was born to shine–and Liam must be watching from afar, drinking in her glory.
But the hall froze for only a beat before erupting in jeers.
“Get off the stage, Sophie! How many times are you going to fake being Liora?
“Both the verified account and the phone belong to Lena. She’s the real Liora!
“Why’s Sophie still standing there? Security, drag her off already!”
Sherry bristled, her temper exploding,
“The organizers haven’t said a word yet, but you idiots won’t shut up? Keep your mouths shut for once!”
“You really think an account and a phone number prove anything? Do you have any idea you’re spitting on the real Liora right now?”
