Sophie, are you finally going to rip off that mysterious veil yourself?
Onstage, Sophie glanced at Sherry Shaw, who was seconds away from starting a brawl with the audience. She sighed into the mic.
“Sherry.”
Like magic, the fire in Sherry’s eyes calmed. She turned toward Sophie.
Sophie waved her over. “Come up here.”
“Okay.”
Sherry pushed through the crowd and ran onto the stage.
Julian still couldn’t believe someone as beautiful as Sophie might be a fraud. His amber eyes stayed fixed on her, curiosity flaring as he realized she
was about to act. He lifted his mic and cleared his throat.
“Everyone, quiet down.”
The noise cut off instantly. All eyes went to Sophie. What was she doing, calling Sherry up? Did she want another person to share the humiliation?
Sophie lifted the mic. “Sherry, can you hack an account right here?”
The word hack froze the room. Even Sherry herself gaped.
She hurried closer, whispering so only Sophie could hear.
“Sophie, are you crazy? You’re holding a mic–everyone can hear you. If you want me to hack, let’s talk after we’re offstage.”
But Sophie’s lips curved. “If you can do it, then do it right here.”
Sherry sucked in a sharp breath, stunned. She had no clue what Sophie was planning.
Lena scoffed. “Really, Sophie? Now you’re bragging about hacking like it’s something noble? Even if you steal my accounts in front of everyone, what does that prove? Just because they’re under your name doesn’t make you me.
Sophie’s tone was cool. “You’ll see soon enough.”
She nodded firmly at Sherry. “Start.”
Sherry still didn’t understand, but she trusted Sophie one hundred percent.
Julian, intrigued, signaled someone to bring up a high–end computer. Sherry’s pale fingers flew across the keyboard, crisp clicks filling the silent hall.
Online, the live chat went wild:
“Is Sophie nuts? Pregnant brain, maybe? Hacking in public–does she think were idiots?”
“Chill. You can curse Sophie all you want, but don’t joke about her being pregnant. She’s carrying Riverland’s crown prince–careful, Marcus might trace your IP and ruin you.”
“Ruin me? Please. Marcus already knows what’s happening here. If he hasn’t rushed the trending tags, it’s because he’s embarrassed and done with Sophie.”
Marcus’s gaze flicked to the scrolling comments. His voice cut through the air low and cold.

Chapter 184
“Tell the legal department they’ve got work to do.”
Chris understood instantly and began calling the lawyers. Some trolls were about to regret every word they typed.
Onstage, Sherry stopped typing. A triumphant grin spread across her face.
“All done. The account and the phone number–they’re both yours now.”
Sophie’s lips curved as she turned back to the crowd.
“So now, just like Lena, I’ve got both accounts. Doesn’t that mean I can claim I’h Liora too?”
Faces in the audience twisted–some scornful, some baffled. Who had ever seen someone steal accounts so brazenly?
Lena snapped, “You had her hack my accounts in front of everyone. That doesn’t make you Liora–it makes you pathetic! You really think this proves anything?”
Her eyes blazed. “I swear those recent posts were mine. Every single word, every punctuation mark–I typed them myself!”
Sophie laughed coldly. “Swear? Fine. Then swear on the life of the child you’re carrying. Swear that every post was yours,
that you
are Liora.”
Lena froze, hands instinctively covering her belly.
“Sophie, that’s vile! To drag an unborn child into this–how cruel can you be?”
