Chapter 111
Miya’s eyes darkened, but at that moment, she was in no position to speak.
A strange unease settled in her chest. ‘Is Darion really just trying to repay me? Why does this feel so off?”

Trenton and Shyla exchanged a glance. Both of them quietly agreed with Darion. Five percent did seem excessive.
But in the current situation, they couldn’t exactly refuse.
After a moment of thought, Trenton nodded. “Alright, we’ll do it your way.”
He signaled to his secretary to revise the contract.
Thalia watched it all unfold, her face pale and tense. Her normally straight posture seemed to falter slightly.
Whether it was 3% or 5%, she didn’t want to give any shares to Miya.
But she was powerless, unable to do anything about it.
What she didn’t expect was that the one who would hurt her the most was Darion himself.
Taking a deep breath, she suddenly had no desire to continue with the deal. She just wanted to get a divorce from Darion, and she wanted it fast.
Her eyes, full of disappointment, locked on him. “Tomorrow. Courthouse.”
With that, she turned and walked away.
The moment she stepped out of the hospital, she dialed Helen’s number.
‘Hey, Thalia, what’s going on?” Helen answered quickly, her voice soft and soothing.
Thalia shut her eyes, trying to hold it together. “Helen, I’m calling off the deal. I don’t care if he ends up with Miya. I can’t take it anymore. I want him to divorce me.”
Helen was quiet for a second, clearly taken aback. Then she quickly asked, “Thalia, hold on. What’s happening? Why are you so upset?”
Thalia gripped her phone tighter. “I just can’t pretend anymore, Helen. I’ve done nothing wrong in this marriage. I’ve been a good wife, and I’ve always respected you and Richard.
“Isn’t that enough? I just want a clean divorce, a dignified one. Is that really asking too much?”
Helen fell silent, speechless for a moment. After a long pause, she sighed. “Alright, I’ll call him.”
Thalia’s anxiety was overwhelming. “Please, I need an answer as soon as possible.”
With that, she ended the call.
She couldn’t bear it anymore. One moment, Darion was all over her, and the next, he was standing by Miya’s side. His emotions were so easily controlled, as if she didn’t even matter to him.
Thalia couldn’t help but feel a bitter laugh rise in her chest.

She called for a taxi and headed straight to the voiceover company, burying herself in work, hoping that the busy schedule would dull the sharp pam in her chest, a pain so intense she could barely breathe.
In the hospital, Trenton’s face was clouded with anger. “That ungrateful girl always threatens with divorce, thinking everyone will just tolerate her behavior?”
But Shyla, looking over at Darion, said, “Darion, don’t let her get to you. She’s just being stubborn. You’ve been with her long enough to know what she’s like, right?”
Darion’s gaze remained fixed on the door, his irritation growing. His handsome face darkened slightly. “I wasn’t finished saying what I needed to.”
Shyla raised an eyebrow. “Oh? What more is there? Go on. We’re listening.”
Darion turned his attention to Trenton, his tone now colder. “If an adopted daughter can get 3% of the Coleman Group’s shares, then Thalia, as your biological daughter, should get some too.
“Not too much. Just 5%. Then no one will question your decision, and the board won’t have any issues with it.”
