Late that night, Darion returned to Rosewood Manor. The whole villa was dead quiet, and the living room was empty.
He headed upstairs, and just as he reached the second floor, he saw someone step out into the hallway.
Darion was tugging at his collar as he walked, and when he saw who it was, his brows drew together in a slight frown.
“Why are you still here?” he asked.
Bonnie hadn’t expected him to come back so suddenly and was startled. She said nervously, “I’ve been keeping Diana company. I only came out after she fell asleep.”
After a pause, she looked at Darion’s handsome face and gathered her courage. “Mr. Blackburn, would you like something to eat? I can whip up a late-night meal for you.”
“No need,” Darion replied coldly. “From now on, don’t come up to the second floor after nine.”
His presence was icy. With that, he turned and walked straight into his room, didn’t even look back at her.
Bonnie’s face went pale. She bit her lip, feeling a pang of sadness.
‘He’s so cold… Bonnie thought to herself.
Swallowing her sadness, she quickly left the second floor.

Thalia was half-asleep when she felt the covers being yanked away. She blinked awake to find Darion already in bed, wrapping her up in his arms, not taking no for an answer.
She pushed at him. “Hey, what are you doing? Let me go!”
But Darion just tightened his grip, holding her so close their bodies were practically glued together.
Thalia felt like she could barely breathe. “Are you crazy barging in like this in the middle of the night? Let me go!”
“If you keep moving, I might really go crazy,” Darion muttered, his voice deep and threatening, eyes still
shut.
Thalia immediately stopped, not daring to move a muscle after hearing him.
She was fuming inside, but with Darion being so shameless, there was nothing she could do. All she could do was squeeze her eyes shut and force herself to try and sleep.
Just as she was about to fall asleep, a hot, lingering kiss pressed against her lips. Darion’s lips gently traced their shape, softly nibbling and savoring every contour.
Thalia pushed him away. “Seriously, if you’re not going to sleep, I need to!”

But Darion murmured. “But I want to kiss you.”
Thalia swung a slap at his face.
Darion caught her wrist and pinned it above her head. “If you hit me again, I’ll just have my way with you.”
“You!” Thalia exploded, her anger flaring.
She was so furious, any trace of sleepiness was gone.
Thalia forced herself to calm down, gritting her teeth. “What exactly do you want from me?”
Darion said, “Just watch a movie with me.”
Thalia glanced at the clock. It was two a.m.
‘He’s insane!’ Thalia thought, completely exasperated.
‘Who even watches movies at two in the morning?’
“Are you going to watch or not?” Darion pressed, his tone leaving no room for argument.
He kissed her, asked again, and when she stayed silent, he just kept kissing and repeating the question, relentless.
Thalia gave in with a sigh, “Fine, I’ll watch.”
As long as it would make him quiet, she was willing to go along with it.
They headed down to the basement media room. Thalia yawned as she slumped into a chair, watching Darion scroll through the movie options.
