Keith finally let go of her hand, reassured.

Miya felt a surge of panic, but seeing Keith’s pale little face, she found some comfort and steadied herself.

‘As long as Darion doesn’t get the antidote, he can’t hurt me. There’s nothing to be scared of,’ Miya

reminded herself.

Miya stood up and followed Jadiel downstairs.

In the living room, it wasn’t just Darion. Jason and another woman she didn’t recognize were also there.

Miya thought the woman looked familiar, but for the life of her, she just couldn’t place where she’d seen her before.

Miya shot Darion a wary look and asked, “What do you want with me?”

Darion said coolly, “Sit.”

Miya was very wary and didn’t sit down right away. Instead, she asked, “What exactly do you want?”

“Heh… I’ve never met a woman as heartless and disgusting as you. How dare you act so self-righteous?” Jason Campbell couldn’t help but mock her.

Miya sobbed, wiping her tears as she looked at Darion. “If you brought me down here just to humiliate me, then do whatever you want. I really don’t care anymore. As long as I can stay with Keith, nothing else matters to me!”
