Chapter 512
“What are you two up to?” Mrs. Adkins called out when she saw Wendy and Thalia still standing by the door, whispering to each other.
She called out to them right away.
“Coming, Mom,” Wendy replied, letting go of Thalia’s hand.
She gave Thalia a playful wink before heading into the bridal shop.
The bridal shop was packed with wedding dresses of every style imaginable, all displayed behind glass, dazzling to the eye and almost overwhelming.
Thalia glanced over each dress, looking completely indifferent.
Mrs. Adkins asked, “Thalia, what was your wedding dress like?”

Thalia lowered her gaze, her long lashes trembling slightly. “Darion personally sketched and designed my dress,” she said softly.
Mrs. Adkins broke into a smile. “Really? Mr. Blackburn must really love you. He must have made your wedding a big deal.”
Wendy pouted and muttered under her breath, “What’s the point of caring? In the end, he still ended up with some homewrecker.”
Mrs. Adkins frowned at her. “What are you grumbling about?”
Wendy replied, “I said, just grab any dress. It’s only for one day, so why bother being so picky?”
“Come on, most women only get married once in their lives! The wedding is super important. It’s your most beautiful day, so you have to wear the prettiest dress,” Mrs. Adkins insisted. She let out a sigh.
“If only the wedding wasn’t so rushed… I’d love to design a dress for you myself. You’d look absolutely stunning if you wore it.”
Wendy casually looked around, then pointed at a strapless mermaid dress. “How about this one? Looks pretty nice to me.”
Mrs. Adkins took a closer look. “Yeah, it’s definitely nice. Really accentuates your figure.”
She turned to Thalia. “Thalia, what do you think?”
Thalia smiled softly. “If Wendy likes it, that’s good enough for me.”
Mrs. Adkins said, “It’s not just about what Wendy likes. Jason’s got to like it too. He’s the groom, after all.”
“I’m good with it, Mrs. Adkins.”
Just then, Jason’s voice rang out.
Everyone turned to see Jason walk in with a woman with short hair.

Chapter 512
Mrs. Adkins’s smile grew even wider when she saw them. “Jason, Viola, you’re just in time! Wendy was just checking out this dress. Come over and tell us what you think.”
Jason walked over and said, “Wendy and I are totally on the same page.”
As he said it, he gave Wendy a playful wink.
Wendy nearly rolled her eyes, but barely managed to stop herself.
“Wendy, this is my sister, Viola. You haven’t met her yet, have you?” Jason said, introducing Viola.
Wendy gave a sweet smile. “Nice to meet you, Viola.”
Viola smiled back. “Hi. You’ve got great taste. This dress really suits you.”
After she finished speaking, Viola’s gaze landed on Thalia, intentionally or not.
