Mr. Campbell waved his hand and turned to leave the wedding venue. Mrs. Campbell was unconscious and needed to be taken to the hospital.
Once Quinn’s men left, the other guests bolted for the exits like their lives depended on it.
The helicopter was already waiting on the rooftop. Quinn took Wendy Adkins straight to it, and as the chopper lifted off, everything below seemed to shrink into insignificance.
Wendy Adkins pressed herself against the window, staring down. Her face was ghostly pale, her eyes uncertain and afraid of what lay ahead.
Suddenly, Quinn’s fingers gripped her chin, forcing her to turn and meet his piercing blue eyes.
He gazed at her with an almost obsessive intensity. “From now on, you’re going to be a good girl and stay right by my side, got it?”
Wendy Adkins nodded, fear in her voice. “If I do what you say, will you… let me visit my parents?”
“Of course, Quinn replied with a grin.
“If you miss them that much, I’ll have them brought to our estate. They can stay with you forever.”
His tone was soft, but the threat in his words was impossible to miss.
Wendy Adkins trembled.
Quinn stared at Wendy Adkins, her body wrapped in the wedding dress. A dangerous glint flashed in his eyes, and suddenly, he reached out and ripped the dress to shreds.
“Ah!” Wendy screamed, scrambling to cover herself.
“I can’t stand this dress. You almost became someone else’s bride, Quinn’s expression darkened, his moods shifting faster than a storm.
“Take it off,” Quinn commanded.
His voice left no room for argument.
Wendy Adkins was shivering, fear growing stronger inside her. “But I don’t have anything else to wear.”
“Wear mine, Quinn replied, then pulled out his black shirt and tossed it in front of her.
He leaned back, watching her calmly, almost amused. “Take it off.”
‘He’s a lunatic! Wendy thought, and it finally hit her why Thalia always said Quinn was crazy.
He had no morals, no sense of right or wrong. His moods swung wildly, and he kept talking about responsibility, pretending he cared about her, but everything he did was just forcing her, crushing her dignity.
And now, with the pilot right there, he actually expected her to change clothes in front of everyone
Wendy Adkins bit her lip, desperate to bargain. “If you hate it so much, just look away Can’t I wait until we land to change
But Quinn seemed to snap. losing all patience. He reached out and ripped her wedding dress apart again.

Her sun-kissed skin shimmered under the light, and the way she was half-hidden only made her look even more dangerously seductive.
Quinn’s breath came out in rough pants. He closed his eyes for a second, then growled, “Do you want me to change it for you, or are you going to do it yourself?”
Wendy Adkins stared at him in disbelief and fear, her tears spilling over. This guy is totally insane!’ she thought.
She didn’t dare waste a second. In a panic, she tore off the scraps of her ruined dress and hurriedly pulled his black shirt over her body.
