Chapter 582
Diana’s face was filled with surprise. She never in her wildest dreams imagined they’d make such a deal.
She glanced at Thalia, who looked just as stunned as she was. Her reaction was almost identical.
But Thalia snapped out of it quickly and nodded. “Yeah, that’s exactly what he said. So, Diana, you really don’t need to worry about us.
“We’ll sort things out. Just relax and make yourself at home, no need to stress about anything. I paid for the renovation, so even if we split up, half of this place is still mine.”
Back when they got married, they picked out their new home together. Darion bought the place, but Thalia wanted to turn it into her own cozy haven, so she took care of all the renovations herself. She didn’t let him see it until everything was done.
She was so excited to start their life together here.
But now, this place meant nothing to her.
Diana seemed convinced by their story and nodded slowly, saying nothing more.
Thalia said, “You really shouldn’t worry so much about other people’s lives. Bonnie’s just here to look after you. If you keep bringing up these things, she might get annoyed but feel too polite to say anything.”
Diana laughed warmly. “Bonnie wouldn’t mind. She’s such a kind-hearted, innocent girl.”
Thalia was just trying to get Diana to stop bugging Bonnie about marriage. Most young people these days can’t stand being pressured like that.
I’m feeling a bit tired. I think I’ll take a nap, Diana said.
She yawned, making it pretty clear she wanted them to leave.
Thalia nodded. “Alright, we’ll head out for now.
“Mm. Diana replied.
Once they were out of the room, Thalia glanced at Darion, her eyes a little conflicted.
Darion’s lips curled into a faint smile. “Moved, huh? Not sure how to thank me? That’s easy, just kiss me, and we’ll call it
even.
Thalia scoffed. ‘Don’t flatter yourself. I’m just impressed your skin is thicker than a city wall.”
Darion flashed a lazy smile. “What else do you expect me to say? Got a better excuse in mind? If I don’t act like I’m desperately clinging to you, Diana’s bound to get suspicious.”
His sharp eyes locked onto hers. “Besides, everything I’m doing right now really is me shamelessly trying to win you back. begging for your forgiveness, hoping you won’t actually divorce me”
Thalia just stared at him, lost for words.
Thalia didn’t even bother with him. She just walked straight upstairs.

When he answered, a familiar, cocky voice came through. “Heh… Darion, are you sneaking around behind your wife’s back
to call me?
Darion’s tone was icy. Just tell me what you’ve uncovered.”
The other person let out a cold laugh. “Is that how you talk to someone you’re supposed to be working with?”
Darion’s voice grew even colder. “Don’t forget, I can just walk away from this. Jason’s been itching to go see Wendy, and I’ve been keeping tabs on your every move.”
“You!”
