I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 604

Chapter 604

Thalia’s expression was mild as she said, “Just stay with Darry.”

“But Keith hesitated, his little face scrunched up. I’m still just a kid. I can’t always be with Darry. You’re his wife, so you should be the one who stays with him.”

He was speaking more fluently and thinking faster, way too sharp for a kid who was almost four.

Thalia curved her lips into a smile and said, “Keith, not everyone can always be with someone else. People are independent. and we all have to learn to live on our own.”

Keith blinked his big eyes at her, a look of innocent confusion on his face.

“Alright, you don’t need to understand all this right now. You’ll figure it out when you’re older.” Thalia said with a gentle smile. She made some small talk with him, then ended the call.

Thalia glanced outside. When she first arrived, she’d been a little hopeful, but for some reason, Darion’s pale, sickly face kept flashing through her mind.

He’d been perfectly fine just yesterday.

‘How did he end up so sick just from being out in the wind?’ Thalia wondered.

Knock knock!

While Thalia was caught up in her thoughts, the door suddenly rattled with a knock.

Thalia called out, a bit curious, “Who is it?”

“It’s me, Ms. Coleman,” Dax Stone replied from outside the door.

Thalia finally felt at ease and opened the door. When she saw Dax, she asked with a hint of confusion, “What’s up?”

Dax pointed to the room next door and said. “Mr. Blackburn wants to see you. He needs to talk to you about something.”

“Okay.” Thalia replied.

She nodded and started toward the next room, but before she reached the door, she turned back to Dax and asked, “When did you start working with him?”

Dax froze for a second, scratching the back of his head. “Well…”

Thalia’s eyes were clear and calm. Seeing him hesitate, she curled her lips into a faint smile and said, “I thought you were sent by Diana to protect me, but it turns out you’ve been spying on me for Darion.”

Dax immediately panicked and waved his hands frantically. “No, Ms. Coleman, it’s not what you think. Please, let me explain…”

“No need to explain,” Thalia cut him off coldly. “A betrayal is a betrayal, no matter how small. Whatever your intentions were you still betrayed me. No amount of explanation will change that.”

Dax’s face fell. ‘Ms. Coleman, I really had no choice.”

Thalia didn’t want to listen anymore. She pushed open the door to Darion’s room
