Dax looked at her, totally lost. “Come on. Thalia, what are you trying to do? Just tell me already.”
Thaha turned to him, pointed outside, and was about to say something, but right before the words came out, she remembered she couldn’t speak. Her face froze for a second, then she quickly picked up her phone and started typing.
[Go find Miya.]
Dax read it, his confusion deepening. “But she hasn’t woken up yet.”
Thalia didn’t type anything else. She just stared at him, refusing to back down.
“Alright, alright, I’ll take you there,” Dax said, feeling a bit uneasy under her stare. He gave in and led her down the hallway.
Miya was in another room, still unconscious, with an oxygen mask over her face. She looked so thin and pale, like she was made of paper.
Thalia stood by the bed, her expression cold as she stared at Miya.
Dax said, “She’s really weak, especially after getting hurt. If the doctors hadn’t gotten to her in time, she probably wouldn’t have made it.”
Thalia didn’t respond. She just stared coldly at Miya, her eyes icy. After a long moment, she suddenly placed her hand firmly over the wound on Miya’s stomach.

Thalia didn’t let go. Instead, she pressed down with even more force on the wound.
Blood kept pouring out, and Miya’s eyes shot open, a muffled groan of pain slipping from her lips.
Only then did Thalia release her grip.
Her fingers were stained with blood. Her arm hung loosely at her side, and crimson drops fell from her fingertips, quickly pooling into a small puddle on the floor.
Standing over Miya, who was clearly suffering, Thalia’s gaze was icy and merciless.
“Ugh.. Miya groaned, her body curling up in pain as she gasped for air.
Then she saw Thalia standing by the bed.
Her eyes went wide with terror. “You… why aren’t you dead?!”
Dax stepped forward. “Hey, watch your mouth. Are you trying to get yourself killed?”
Miya was in agony, feeling like her insides were being torn apart. She was drenched in cold sweat.
“What are you trying to do?” she whispered shakily, fear clear in her voice.

She looked at them, so frail and scared she could barely keep her eyes open.
Dax didn’t beat around the bush. “Where did you get that powder? And where’s the antidote?”
He went straight for the jugular.
Miya’s face froze for a second, the pain in her eyes giving way to suspicion. She stared at Thalia, studying her closely
