Chapter 652
Ryan’s words were heavy, carrying a weight that couldn’t be ignored.
He didn’t mention Thalia at all, focusing solely on how Darion was hanging by a thread.
Even though Helen still held a grudge against Thalia, saving her son was all that mattered now.
She’d already lost one son; there was no way she could just stand by and watch another slip away.
“I’ll see what I can do. If I find her, I’ll let you know,” Helen said.
Ryan let out a sigh of relief. “Alright, Helen.”
After hanging up, he realized his palms were slick with sweat.
Helen really has a big problem with Thalia,’ Ryan thought to himself.
But love is always about mutual consent, after all.
If Mr. Blackburn’s made up his mind, who’s going to stand in his way?

That evening, Helen sent Ryan an email.
Natasha is currently living in a small coastal town in the country with her parents.
Her parents have left the rescue team and are now living a retired life.
Ryan passed the news along to Darion and Thalia.
ason, who was hanging around, jumped in right away. “Which city? Got any more info? I’m going there right now.”
Ryan handed him a file. “Here’s everything we’ve got on Natasha Riley.”
ason studied the file for a moment, then said, “I’ll head out tomorrow.”
Just then, Thalia’s voice sounded from the phone, icy and mechanical. “I’m going too.”
Thalia, Darion called out immediately. “Stay here with me at the hospital. Let him take care of it.”
But Thalia kept typing. “If I go there myself, Natasha can assess me in person and figure out the best treatment for me”
If she can treat me, she’ll come along. If not, at least she won’t have to make the trip for nothing
Jason jumped in. “I think Thalia’s got the right idea, Darion. Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye on her.”
Darion replied with a cool tone, “It’s because you’re going that I’m not at ease.”
Jason was left speechless.
Alright, alright, guess nobody loves me anyway! Jason thought to himself
Thalia kept typing, “We’ll be back soon. We won’t be gone for long.”

Danion still wasn’t on board
Thalia tapped away on her phone “If you were better, we could go together. But you’re not healed yet.”
Darion fell silent.
Jason kept trying to reassure him. “Darion, we’ll be back before you know it. We’ll call you every day, alright?”
Darion didn’t say a word. just turned to Thalia, his expression heavy.

Seeing the tension, Ryan cleared his throat. “Alright, Jason, let’s go over our plan. Natasha’s not the easiest person to approach. so we need to figure out how to get close to her.”
As he spoke, Ryan motioned for Jason to follow him out.
Jason quickly switched gears, nodding. “Okay, what are you thinking?”
The hospital room grew quiet.
Thajia,” Darion called out to her.
