I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 666

Chapter 666

Someone’s shaky breathing could be heard.

Jason rubbed his nose, knowing they were already aware. If he brought it up again, it’d just reopen Natasha’s wounds.

“Hey…” Jason began.

You don’t have to keep talking about it, Jason wanted to say so. He felt a bit awkward.

“It’s fine,” Natasha said.

Natasha’s voice was a little hoarse as she continued, “When Victor found out my mom could make drugs, he wanted her to work for him.

“But she was already tired of that life, so she refused. Then Victor sent people to bomb the place where we worked. My parents were right in the center of the explosion…”

The buildings collapsed, leaving nothing but rubble everywhere, a post-apocalyptic wasteland, thick with suffocating despair.

Thalia searched desperately for her parents, but all she saw was her dad shielding her mom beneath him, and her mom was barely clinging to life.

Her mom’s last words to her were, “Sweetheart, go back to South City. We bought a house there. Spend the rest of your life there, living well. As long as you’re safe and happy, that’s all we ever wanted…”

Without another word, her mom let go of her hand.

Natasha felt like her world was falling apart.

As she finished, tears finally spilled down her cheeks. She wiped them away with determination, biting her lip, trying to pull herself together.

“I’m sorry,” Jason said.

Jason realized he’d touched her deepest wound, and guilt washed over him as he apologized.

Natasha took a few deep breaths and said, “It’s fine. We barely know each other, and I’m telling you this so you can trust me promise, I won’t hurt you.”

She wiped away her tears and forced a smile. “For years, I was just going through the motions, like a zombie. Then Mrs Blair encouraged me to keep helping people, so I ended up opening a clinic.

“Treaung patients made me feel alive again. But whenever I was alone, those memories from that day would always come back to haunt me.”

There’s probably nothing more heartbreaking than seeing your loved ones die right before your eyes

Natasha was haunted by nightmares She could never let go of the past. The hatred twisted around her heart like vines, growing bigger and stronger until it became impossible to ignore.

But when Natasha heard about Thalia Coleman’s ordeal and what she needed, the hatred inside her finally bloomed into resolve.

She was determined to take revenge.

Jason cleared his throat. ‘Yeah, we trust you now. But if you want revenge, you can’t stay here Once Thalia and Darion are cured, they’ll go after Vera. Do you want to join us?”

I’m in” Natasha said, her voice rock solid.

Her eyes flashed with fierce hatred and determination. “I’m going to kill Victor myself, no matter what it takes. My parents deserve justice, and I won’t stop until I get it!”

Thalia Coleman listened to her story, her heart went out to her. She reached out and gave Natasha’s hand a reassuring

squeeze.
