I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 682

Chapter 682 Not Sure

“Everything will be okay,” Darion murmured.

“Mm,” Thalia hummed softly, her heart settling a little.

Natasha watched from the side, rubbing her chin and letting out a soft tsk.

“Why are you tsking?” Jason asked.

Just then, Jason walked in with a bag of fruit. He happened to catch Natasha tsking and rubbing her chin, so he asked.

Natasha shot him a look, then leaned in a bit closer. “Honestly, they seem pretty good together, right? So how did things get so bad they ended up divorced?”

Jason hesitated. “Uh, well…”

Natasha looked at him, confused. “What?”

Jason stammered, “Um, I mean…”

Natasha’s face dropped. “Seriously, can you even form a sentence? If not, just shut up!” Jason rubbed his nose and said, “That’s really their business. As an outsider, it’s better not to say too much.”

“Darion, Thalia, I brought your favorite fruits. Come on, have some!” Jason said, trying to change the subject.

To avoid Natasha’s questions, Jason quickly slipped into the hospital room.

“Tch!” Natasha muttered, curling her lip.

She turned and caught sight of Ryan, Darion’s assistant.

He was wearing a white shirt, looking clean-cut and handsome, and smiled politely at her. “Dr. Riley.”

Natasha gave him a small smile. “Hey, Ryan.”

Ryan’s eyelid twitched. He suddenly felt uneasy for no reason.

Natasha walked over. “I need to pick your brain about something. When do you have a minute?”

Ryan checked his watch and said, “I’ve got to update Mr. Blackburn, then there’s a video call, and after that…”

“Alright, that’s enough!” Natasha cut him off.

Chapter 683 Im Out

Chapter 683 I’m Out

Natasha didn’t want to listen to his rambling, so she cut him off with a wave of her hand. “You’re always busy like a robot. No wonder you’re single. Forget it, I won’t ask you anymore. It’s pointless.”

With that, she turned and walked away.

Ryan’s face froze for a second. He slowly lowered his hand, pulled himself together, and then knocked on the hospital room door.

While Ryan was giving his report, Thalia sat nearby, just listening. It hit her then. Even though Darion had lost his sight, he still had tons to handle.

Even staying in the hospital barely gave him any rest.

Thalia pressed her lips together, her heart twisting with unease.

Ryan glanced at Thalia, then continued, “As for the business arrangements at the seaside…”

His tone was slow.

Darion turned toward Thalia and said, “Thalia, I could really go for some coffee.”

Thalia’s brows knitted together. She grabbed her phone and texted, ‘Are you even allowed to drink coffee?’

Darion said, “Maybe you should check with Dr. Riley?”

‘Alright,’ Thalia replied.

She stood up and walked out of the hospital room.

Jason, quick on the uptake, walked over and closed the door, then stood by the entrance, making sure nobody else barged in.

Darion turned to Ryan. “Go ahead.”

Ryan lowered his voice. “Mr. Clark passed on some news. The Holt family’s been fighting over a project lately. All the Holt kids have been using every trick in the book, and they’re all pretty beat up. And Vera’s already left Oakwood. She probably won’t be back here anytime soon.”

Darion nodded. “So, what’s Ethan’s take on this?”

Ryan’s expression was complicated. He hesitated for a moment, then said, “Ethan said messing with the Holt family is way too risky. He’s only got one life, and he’s not taking any chances…”

There was actually something else Ethan had said, but Ryan chose not to mention it. Darion definitely wouldn’t like it.
