Her face was full of disbelief. “That’s just nuts. I always knew that maniac Quinn would pull something even crazier sooner or later, but I never thought he’d actually go after someone else’s wife.”

Ryan couldn’t help but ask, puzzled, “Dr. Riley, you seem to know Mr. Clark pretty well?”

Natasha made a face. “My parents told me about him, and I’ve met him a couple of times. I always keep my distance from people like him.”

She rubbed her chin. “But I’ve never seen him with any women, and never heard of him having a girlfriend. Still, there’s this rumor. Some woman tried to get with him, and he just stripped her naked and tossed her straight into the slums…”

As she spoke, her expression soured, genuine disgust for Quinn written all over her face.

“He’s the most vicious, cruel, and insane kind of person. It’s like he doesn’t even have a shred of humanity,” Natasha whispered, glancing at Thalia. “I honestly can’t imagine what Wendy would go through if she fell into his hands…”

Thalia looked even more pale.

Darion’s voice was cold. “That’s enough. Be quiet.”

Natasha shot him a look. “I’m just telling the truth. Why can’t I speak my mind?”

Once again, the hospital room went quiet.

Thalia just turned and left the room.

Seeing this, Natasha asked, “Thalia, where are you going?”

Thalia typed on her phone, “I’m going for a walk. Don’t follow me.”
