I Divorced You Now You Beg (Thalia and Darion) novel Chapter 692

Chapter 692 It Will Come

The instant noodles were ready and placed in front of Wendy.

It was a simple bowl, topped with a fried egg, ham, and some greens.

The chef had cooked it to perfection, with a tempting aroma and appearance.

Wendy sat there in a daze, staring at the bowl as her vision started to blur. She sniffled, didn’t burst into tears, but just picked up her fork and took small bites.

Every now and then, a tear would fall into the bowl.

Quinn watched the scene, feeling as if an invisible hand was crushing his heart. The sudden, sharp pain left him completely rigid.

She was heartbroken, but she didn’t fall apart. She just let the tears slip down in

silence.

All at once, Quinn was overwhelmed by a wave of restless anger.

He abruptly turned and strode out of the dining room, his steps quick and forceful. As he left, a dark, menacing aura seemed to radiate from him.

No crew member or waiter passing by dared to meet his gaze.

But Wendy didn’t care about any of that. She ignored the crew and waiters completely. After finishing the noodles, the emptiness in her heart felt just a bit less overwhelming.

She finished everything, not even leaving a drop of soup behind.

She took a tissue, wiped her tears, blew her nose, and let out a quiet sigh.

As night fell, what Wendy had been trying so hard to avoid was finally coming for her.

The room was big, with a round bed covered in sheets so soft and luxurious you could just sink right in.

After her shower, Wendy sat at the head of the bed, hugging her knees. Her face was tight, looking extra tense and uneasy, clearly resisting whatever was coming.

When the door opened, she closed her eyes tightly. Whatever’s meant to come will

come.

When she looked up, she saw Quinn standing there in a white shirt, the collar slightly undone, the hem somehow stained with blood.

There was a faint smile on his handsome, well-defined face, and his blue eyes were as deep as the sea.

“Were you waiting for me, baby?” Successfully unlocked!

Wendy gave him a slight frown. “I thought you might regret it.”

“Of course not.” Quinn leaned in, trying to get close to her.

But Wendy dodged him, wrinkling her nose. “You stink.”

Quinn froze at her words, stopped approaching, and stepped back twice. His deep blue eyes locked onto hers. “I can’t wait for tonight.”

“Be good, baby. I’ll take a quick shower and be right back,” he said.

He turned and went to the bathroom.

The sound of water splashing from the bathroom echoed through the room, and Wendy pulled the comforter tightly around herself, as if trying to shield herself from everything.

‘Tonight’s gonna be rough, Wendy thought, bracing herself for whatever was coming. When the bathroom door swung open, Quinn stepped out with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. Standing six foot three, his broad shoulders and narrow waist were matched by muscles that rippled with raw strength.

Water still dripped from his short hair. He wiped it off carelessly, tossed the towel aside, and then dove straight onto the bed, pinning Wendy beneath him as he kissed her deeply.

“Mm…” Wendy let out a soft, muffled sound.

There was no finesse to his kiss, just pure instinct, his tongue sweeping and exploring, leaving no spot untouched, cherishing every bit of softness he found.
