Sienna gloated inwardly. Hayden's attitude couldn't be clearer. Zoe was desperate to be the real Mrs. Thorne, but so what if Hayden threw the title around?

It was just lip service to shut her up. Did anyone in the elite circles actually know? Would she dare parade it around? In front of others, would Hayden or the Thorne family ever actually acknowledge her?

Colin Zachs arrived promptly. Taking one look at the trio, he instantly grasped the situation. "Ms. Winters, please get in," Colin said tactfully, displaying the utmost respect toward Sienna.

Sienna froze. Hayden had meant Zoe. The look in Zoe's eyes made it seem like she wanted to tear Hayden apart. Sienna didn't feel safe leaving right now. Knowing Zoe's volatile nature, she would definitely pull some stunt with Hayden.

"Hayden." She sought confirmation from him, assuming he had called Colin to drag Zoe away.

"Ms. Winters, Mr. Thorne and his wife have matters to discuss. Grandmother Thorne might want to see them shortly. It's best if you come with me," Colin interjected, dropping Beatrice Thorne's name just forcefully enough.

Hayden didn't deny Colin's explanation. For the first time, Sienna found herself choking on the reality of the "wife" title.

Unmoved by her silent plea, Hayden watched as she reluctantly climbed into the car. She wanted nothing more than to glare fiercely at Colin, but having been around the Thorne family for years, she knew Colin reported directly to the matriarch. She didn't dare cross him.

Swallowing her pride, she made sure to project the image of a gracious, understanding woman before departing. "Come over as soon as you're done. Mom and I will wait for you for dinner."

Hayden's expression softened slightly, and he gave a curt nod.

Once Colin's car was out of sight, Hayden suddenly spoke. "Should we pick Lily up from school together?"
