If you have so much free time, spend it figuring out how to seal the deal with Hayden. You still haven't managed to crawl into his bed.

Captain Briggs was already growing impatient. As she walked back to him, her legs trembled violently.

The sheer drop in her blood sugar nearly made her pass out. In the end, two officers had to practically carry her into the cruiser.

Despite the dramatic interlude, Zoe’s mood remained completely unaffected.
