Finn stood at the entrance.
He wore a dark blue dress shirt tucked sharply into tailored black trousers, the fit perfectly accentuating his broad shoulders, narrow waist, and endlessly long legs.
He radiated an overpowering, commanding presence just standing there.
His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, exposing the thick white bandages wrapped around his left arm.
The ambient light of the terrace washed over him, casting half of his sharp features into deep shadow.
A wave of pure dread washed over Sienna. She had no idea how long he had been standing there or how much he had heard.
She immediately took a step back, putting distance between herself and both men.
Finn stalked forward. He didn't even spare her a glance as he made a beeline straight for Isaac.
The two men stood face-to-face, evenly matched in height.
"What the hell were you just doing?" Finn's voice was dangerously low.
Isaac met his gaze unflinchingly.
"You saw exactly what I was doing."
"I asked you what you were doing," Finn ground out, emphasizing every syllable.
"I was telling her how I feel." Isaac didn't back down.
His tone was infuriatingly calm, as if discussing the weather.
"I'm in love with her."
Isaac looked completely unapologetic.
Finn's expression remained terrifyingly blank, but his fists clenched tight enough to turn his knuckles white.
In a flash, he grabbed Isaac by the collar and slammed him brutally against the metal railing.
"Isaac, you bastard. You're stabbing me in the back too?"
They were six stories up, and the railing barely reached their waists. Isaac's upper torso was forced dangerously over the edge as Finn's white-knuckled grip twisted the fabric of his shirt.
Sienna let out a gasp of horror and sprinted over, grabbing at Finn's arm.
"Finn, let him go. You're going to push him over. We're on the sixth floor."
Finn whipped his head around, his eyes blazing with a predatory, bloodshot fury.
"You're defending him?"
Finn whipped his head around, his eyes blazing with a predatory, bloodshot fury. "You're defending him?"
Sienna was frantic.
"What are you talking about? He's my superior, and I respect him. Just let him go, and we can talk this out calmly."
Finn didn't loosen his grip for a second, his lethal stare locked on Isaac.
