I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 241

Sienna's heart skipped a beat.

She knew exactly what Finn meant by that question.

But she genuinely hadn't breathed a word about him to her family.

As for the reasons why, she didn't want to explain.

Lydia didn't pick up on the underlying tension at all; she only realized she had mistaken his identity and felt a flush of embarrassment.

Clearing her throat, she forced a smile and asked,

"Finn, what's your relationship with Sienna?"

"Friends," Finn replied concisely.

"Oh." Lydia's tone became guarded and secretive.

Finn glanced at Lydia's phone, which was still resting on the side, blasting the audio from a short video loudly.

He frowned.

"Mrs. Cross, Sienna just woke up. She needs a quiet environment to rest."

Finn's voice wasn't loud, but the hospital room instantly fell silent.

Lydia opened her mouth, then snapped it shut.

Her attitude suddenly turned frosty as she grabbed the thermos from the table and hauled Noah up.

"Come on, go fill this up with water with me."

"Mom, just go by yourself..."

"Move it."

Noah was dragged out of the room.

Sienna sat on the bed, looking at Finn.

They were separated by a mere three feet.

Outside, it was getting late, the sky pitch-black.

"Did you bring me to the hospital?" Sienna spoke first.

"Yeah."

"Were you following me the whole time?"

Finn didn't confirm or deny it.

Sienna's heart rate picked up.

She told herself it was just a normal physiological reaction, a result of pulling the IV out too fast and the blood rushing back.

"How much was the medical bill? I'll pay you back."
