Finn stood at the door, looking crisp and clean in a white T-shirt and dark pants.
He looked just like a college student.
Sienna hated seeing Finn look like this the most.
Because that was the dream from her school days.
She pulled her gaze away, not daring to look closer, and shot a vicious glare at Noah, who was hiding behind Finn.
"Why did you bring him?"
Noah peeked out from behind him, feigning complete innocence.
"I ran into Finn outside the complex, and he asked what was wrong, so I told him. Who knew he was so helpful? He even bought tools and insisted on coming back with me."
Sienna's eyes were full of suspicion.
"Property management is outside the complex?"
"I'm not familiar with the area, how would I know?" Noah replied, entirely unrepentant.
Sienna didn't ask further.
Finn held a toolbox, his tall, broad frame blocking the doorway. He spoke cautiously:
"Since I'm already here, let me fix it for you."
Sienna stepped aside.
Finn walked in, changed into slippers, crouched down, and opened the toolbox.
"Why were you nearby?" Sienna suddenly asked.
Finn's heart skipped a beat, but his answer flowed naturally:
"I went to Mercy International to see Silas, still dealing with the flight qualification issue from before."
He stood up straight.
"Is it the bathroom pipe?"
Sienna led him inside.
"Does a trust-fund kid like you even know how to fix it?"
Finn didn't look up.
"Regardless of my background, I know how to fix a pipe."
He crouched down and unscrewed the faucet. Water sprayed out, drenching him completely.
He didn't dodge, and the wrench in his hand didn't stop moving.
Sienna stood nearby, watching the water drip down his jawline. The wet white T-shirt clung to his body, clearly defining the sharp contours of his shoulder blades.
She looked away and went to grab a towel.
When she came back out, she realized Noah had vanished to God knows where.
The pipe was fixed quickly.
