I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 396

Sasha's expression stiffened instantly.

"Ms. Sterling, did I do something to offend you? I came over here to apologize, and your attitude is completely uncalled for. Don't you have any class?"

Sienna stared right through her.

"You falling over was entirely your own fault, and it had absolutely nothing to do with me. As for apologies—if you love giving them so much, go find a random stranger on the street. Don't put on a fake performance in front of me. It's sickening."

Her voice wasn't loud, but every word cut like glass. "The security cameras at the bookstore recorded everything. If your memory is a little fuzzy, you can review the footage anytime. Do you want me to forward you a copy?"

Sasha never dreamed Sienna would be this direct, completely stripping away her polite facade.

Her face flushed with utter humiliation.

Sienna couldn't be bothered to waste another second on her. She turned sideways to walk past.

"Hold it right there." The man in the driver's seat of the Rolls-Royce shoved his door open and stepped out.

He was incredibly tall, easily over six-foot-two.

Standing in front of Sienna, he loomed like a brick wall.

He wore a sharply tailored dark suit, his tie knotted flawlessly, exuding an overwhelming sense of intimidation.

"Apologize to Sasha."

Sienna tilted her head up to look at him.

She remembered Paxton mentioning that the middle Beaumont brother was a tall, imposing lawyer.

Her face remained completely deadpan as she spoke.

"Why should I?"

Sylvester Beaumont looked her up and down.

His gaze swept from her makeup-free face to her well-worn white t-shirt, and finally down to her scuffed sneakers. His tone dripped with condescension.

"Not a single thing on your body is worth a dime, yet you've got quite the attitude. I've never met someone so blindly arrogant."

Sienna looked at him and let out a sudden laugh.
