I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 403

"Sienna is not a bargaining chip. She is my life."

Sebastian's expression shattered, as if he had been physically struck by the words.

He stared at Finn for two agonizing seconds before finally choking out a response.

"Finn, you're a lovesick fool!"

Finn didn't even blink.

"Thank you for the compliment."

He took another half-step forward, locking eyes with Sebastian.

"Sebastian, mark my words. Thanks to your sheer stupidity, the Fletcher and Beaumont families are officially at war."

Sebastian stood frozen, the color completely draining from his face.

He had orchestrated this entire scheme—throwing away cash, buying off employees, swapping the data, and strutting in here to deliver his ultimatum.

It was all designed with one single goal: to force Finn to bend the knee.

In his mind, even if Finn was stubborn, he was a businessman who understood how to weigh risks and rewards.

He never, in a million years, anticipated an outcome like this.

Sebastian stared at him, his mouth opening and closing as he tried to salvage the situation, but Finn had already looked away.

"Get out."

Two words.

They hit with a terrifying finality, making Sebastian's ears ring.

Standing behind Finn, Sienna was completely paralyzed.

She had known Finn for years, yet she had never heard him speak with that kind of lethal intensity. It was as if he had finally ripped away every shred of his legendary self-control.

Sebastian opened his mouth again, but all he managed was a weak parting shot.

"You're going to regret this, Finn."

He turned and practically fled, his exit far more pathetic than his arrogant entrance.

Lance was speed-walking back down the corridor and nearly collided with Sebastian.

He watched the man's frantic retreat, then glanced through the doorway at Finn's dark expression.

"What the hell was he doing here? Why did he look like he just saw a ghost?"

Finn didn't answer.

He turned around, walked straight to Sienna, and took her hand. He gently guided her over to the sofa, his voice instantly reverting to its usual, warm cadence.

"Are you hungry? I can order us some food."
