Lily wiped her face, her voice thick and nasal from crying.
"Sorry, I wasn't thinking. I'm imposing on you guys. Just forget it, I'll figure something out on my own."
Sienna turned to Isaac.
"Isaac, what do you say?"
By this point, Isaac was completely fed up. His face was stone cold, his pride getting the better of him.
"Whatever. Do what you want. I don't care."
Lily's tears instantly spilled over again.
Sienna's heart ached for her.
"Alright, Lily, you're coming with me."
"Sienna..."
Finn looked over from the side, his eyes painfully pathetic.
Sienna felt somewhat apologetic.
"I have to take care of Lily."
Finn glanced at Lily's swollen eyes, then at Isaac.
"Isaac, what the hell are you looking at? You're standing there like a block of wood. Say something soft to her!"
Isaac didn't say a single word. He just yanked his car door open and got in.
Without a moment's hesitation, he drove off.
Finn turned to Sienna, his tone softening.
"Let's go to The Belvedere. I have space there."
Sienna shook her head.
"Take us to Solstice Heights. The lease on my one-bedroom isn't up yet."
Left with no choice, Finn relented.
"I'll drive you guys."
Solstice Heights.
Finn followed them upstairs. Lily stood in the doorway of the one-bedroom apartment, looked around, and then glanced at Finn, who clearly had no intention of leaving. She hesitated before speaking.
"There's no way all three of us can fit in here, right?"
Finn pointed across the hall.
"I have my own place."
