Love Me Back (Amelia and Daniel) novel Chapter 430

Rose’s Mother.

When Daniel heard those words, his eyes flickered—just for a moment.

After a pause, he brushed Violet’s hand away. “We can’t reassign an organ match that’s already been approved. Every life matters. I’ll have someone keep an eye on Eunice’s case, and the moment there’s any news, you’ll know.”

With that, Daniel stepped into the elevator and was gone.

The polished metal walls reflected Violet’s face, a slow, satisfied smile spreading across her lips.

Daniel’s words—“we can’t reassign an approved match”—meant he’d already found a compatible donor, but the organ had been assigned to someone else.

There were plenty of people in Silkwood waiting for a liver transplant, but how many had already received a match and were just waiting for surgery?

Wheeling herself slowly down the hallway, Violet’s mood only grew lighter the more she thought about it. She couldn’t help but laugh softly to herself.

At first, she’d been worried that Eunice’s son and Ruby wouldn’t be matched with the same donor; if that hadn’t worked out, her plans would’ve stalled.

But now, by some stroke of luck, the match had happened.

Clearly, fate was on her side.

After four grueling hours in the operating room, Eunice’s son was moved to the ICU.

Strict visiting hours meant Eunice couldn’t go in. She sat outside the glass doors on a hard bench, quietly sobbing, her tears seeming endless.

Violet handed her a tissue. “Eunice, you should go home and get some rest. Sitting here isn’t going to help.”

Eunice wiped at her eyes, but the tears kept coming. She clung to Violet’s hand. “Ms. Rose, could you please talk to Mr. Campbell for me? If he can help my son get a new liver, I’ll do anything—anything at all!”

Violet sighed. “I’ll see what I can do.”

The following afternoon, Daniel emerged from a meeting, and his assistant hurried over. “Mr. Campbell, Ms. Scott has been waiting quite some time to see you.”

Daniel leaned forward, long fingers spreading the photos across the tabletop.

The pictures were faded with age, but the little girl’s smile shone like sunlight. She was a beloved princess, adored by all. Nothing in the world could outshine her laughter.

Daniel lingered over one photo—a girl on a swing.

Chapter 430 3

Ms. Scott—if not for the family tragedy, her life could have blossomed, vibrant and joyful, just like those days.

Daniel quietly gathered the photos and set them aside. “What is it you want to say?”

“I know this isn’t right,” Violet said softly, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. “But I can’t stand to watch Eunice lose her son.”

She looked up, her voice trembling. “Daniel, I’ve never asked you for anything. But this time, I’m begging you. Please… help Eunice.”
