Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 189

A tall, commanding figure strode through the hotel entrance.

Dressed in a sharp suit, his posture was as rigid as a steel rod. His features were stoic, exuding a natural aura of absolute authority that commanded the room without a single word.

Grant's eyes lit up and he waved eagerly. "Gavin! Over here!"

Gavin Hamilton walked over. His gaze first landed on Hudson, and he offered a curt nod. "Congratulations."

Hudson's lips curved slightly. "Thanks."

Gavin's gaze then shifted to Nora.

The young woman stood before the floral wall, the satin mermaid gown hugging her delicate frame. Pearls and diamonds sparkled against her collarbone, highlighting her radiant complexion.

Gavin stared at her face for a second, his brows pulling into a slight frown.

That face...

Watching his older brother stare intently at Nora, Grant felt a sudden spike of anxiety.

Wasn't Gavin supposed to be the sensible one?

What was he doing openly staring at Hudson's wife?

Grant opened his mouth to crack a joke and diffuse the tension, but out of the corner of his eye, he spotted someone who absolutely had no business being there. The blood drained from his face.

Noticing Grant's sudden panic, Hudson and the others naturally followed his gaze.

A large entourage was swaggering through the main doors.

Leading the pack was a man in his fifties. He maintained a remarkably fit physique, walking with the posture of a seasoned aristocrat. He wore an impeccably tailored black suit and wire-rimmed glasses, his eyes curving into a warm, gentle smile behind the lenses.

He looked like the picture of benevolence.
