Marked By the Pureblood Alpha (Deanna and Luis) novel Chapter 435

Luis's POV:

Kathryn gazed at me for a long moment, and the last trace of doubt and scrutiny in her eyes finally gave way to deep emotion and complete trust.

"Luis, please understand a mother's heart when it comes to her daughter. The title of 'Mooncrown Pack Luna' carries a certain weight. I'm just afraid that one day, you two might..."

"That day will never come." I cut off her unfinished words. "I understand your concerns. This is entirely my own decision, so please don't tell Deanna about it."

Now, in the car on the way home, Deanna poked my arm. "Anyway, I'm going to talk to her about the three billion dollars bonding gift. You don't need to worry about it."

Hearing how much she was thinking of me, I couldn't help but smile, and said earnestly, "Deanna, I need you to believe me. Before I met you, my world may have been vast, but it was like a land buried under ice and snow. I was the king of that world, but also its only prisoner.

"And you are the only rose that ever bloomed in my barren land. If money could buy someone like you, then I would create all the wealth in the world for you."

At my words, Deanna's eyes grew misty as she looked at me, her voice choked. "You're such a fool."

...

Deanna's POV:

The Ferrari slowly pulled into a residential district called Starlight Estate.

I wasn't unfamiliar with this place.

It was a newly developed property in the heart of Nordvale, covering a substantial area. The district featured not only classic ancient-style villa clusters but also modern high-rise apartments.

The amenities inside were top-notch as well, complete with a golf course, a helipad, and everything in between.

Its location was also prime, situated in the city center yet surrounded by dense woodlands, like a peaceful oasis in the middle of the urban bustle.

Everyone who lived here was either filthy rich or extremely powerful in the werewolf world.

The Ferrari finally came to a stop in front of a three-story white villa.

At first glance, the courtyard was bursting with flowers, and the white villa nestled among them looked incredibly warm and inviting.

I looked at Luis, confused. "Where are we?"

Luis smiled and unfastened my seatbelt. "Our new home."

He took my hand and led me along a path paved with smooth pebbles toward the front door, then opened it.
