Raven’s POV

It has been three days since I was taken.

The place smells of damp stone and old paint. The walls are cold, and the floor hurts my skin whenever I lie down. There is no bed. No blanket.

Only chains, darkness, and silence that feels louder than screams.

That first day, I heard the guards talking outside my cell. One of them said the Rough King had ordered that nothing should be done to me yet. That I should be locked in the dungeon and left there.
