Shawn stared at Laila in shock. He couldn’t believe she was this strong

She’s just a woman, how can she be so much stronger than me?!

Laila looked at him coldly. Her Alpha pressure was aimed only at him.

After a moment. Shawn’s face turned pale. Sweat started to bead on his forehead.

Evelyn immediately felt worried.

“Laila, let’s talk this out calmly.”

After all, this was Thunder Pack’s territory, so Laila pulled back her Alpha pressure.

Shawn finally let out a breath of relief. If she hadn’t stopped, she would’ve forced me to my knees. That would’ve been too humiliating…

He shot Laila a hard glare, picked Tiffany up then asked with concern, “Are you okay?”

That only made Shawn feel worse.

Back at Frostwind Pack, Samuel had also heard that Laila went to Thunder Pack. He didn’t need to think long to guess something must’ve happened to Lillian.

Even though he hadn’t gone out these past few days, he had Luke keep track of Laila, so now he couldn’t sit still anymore.

“Alpha, Ms. Livingston told you not to move around,” Luke reminded him as he followed.

“It’s fine. My condition hasn’t flared up for three days. I think I might be better,” Samuel said without stopping.

Evelyn opened her mouth, but before she could speak, Shawn cut in first.

Viola fired right back, “Screw you! You think I want to be here? If you didn’t do those things, I wouldn’t even bother. You’re just a clueless idiot who only knows how to bully women.

“Ah! That’s too much!” Shawn shouted angrily. He almost shifted into his wolf form to fight, but when he caught a glimpse of Laila’s cold expression, he held back.

“I don’t want to argue with someone as rude as you!”

He turned to Laila. “Laila, no matter what, you’re a duke of the Conlay family. You should be reasonable, right?

“You barged into Thunder Pack and attacked my people. Don’t you think that’s too much?

“Even His Majesty wouldn’t do something like this.

“And that woman Rockie broke my arm before. She works for you. I haven’t even settled that with you yet!”

As he spoke, Shawn felt a dull ache in his left arm.

Even though it had healed thanks to his Alpha recovery, it still wasn’t fully back to normal.
