As soon as Samuel sat down and asked that question, Evelyn was panic.

“Prince Vance, no one bullied your fiancée…” she said quickly.

Samuel’s voice turned cold. “Really? Then why is Laila so angry? Why did she hit someone? She’s not the type to lose her temper for no reason.”

“That’s not what I meant…”

Under his sharp gaze, Evelyn felt a chill run through her. “It’s all just a misunderstanding.”

“Prince Vance, are you using your power to bully others?” Shawn cut in. His injuries had healed a little, and he could speak clearly again. Seeing Evelyn being pressured, he stepped forward.

He said coldly, “Ms. Conlay barged into Thunder Pack, interfered in my family matters, and even assaulted me. Just because she’s your fiancée, are you going to protect her no matter

what?”

He still believed he was right.

Samuel didn’t even look at him. His eyes were full of indifference. “He talks too much. Viola, slap him.”

Viola didn’t work for Samuel, but she was more than happy to do this.

The moment she heard the order, she strode over, grabbed Shawn by the collar, and slapped him hard.

Shawn was knocked straight to the ground.

Half his face went numb. His ears rang, and his vision went dark. He barely managed to prop himself up when another slap came crashing down. He spat out a mouthful of blood and collapsed again.

“Shawn!” Evelyn cried out, but she didn’t dare go over to help him.

A servant rushed forward to support Shawn, but he was dizzy and could barely stand. His legs trembled, yet he still managed to shout weakly, “Prince Vance, you’ve gone too far!”

Blood filled his mouth as he spoke.

He had been beaten too many times today. And both Laila and Viola had used their full strength.

They were top students from Moonlight Academy. The power of their Alpha strikes wasn’t something an average person could endure.

Evelyn’s heart ached, but she didn’t dare confront Samuel. Instead, she turned to Titus. “Mr. Whitmore, please say something. You know I’ve never treated Lillian badly. Even if Shawn did something wrong, I’ll apologize for him. I’ll make sure he behaves better and treats Lillian well in the future.”

Titus glanced at Shawn. He didn’t feel sorry for him getting beaten, but he didn’t want things to escalate.

He still hoped Lillian and Shawn could live peacefully together.

So, he looked at Samuel and said, “Prince Vance, this must be a misunderstanding. Evelyn has always treated Lillian well, and I believe Shawn will change.”

Then he turned to Laila. “As for your fiancée, she isn’t hurt at all. So she clearly wasn’t bullied.”

Laila and Samuel both let out cold laughs at the same time.

Laila said, “That’s because you didn’t hear him. He said the Conlays deserved to be wiped out.”

Samuel’s expression turned icy in an instant.

“Thunder Pack insults the fallen of the Conlay family and accuses my fiancée of abusing her power. Since Shawn is under my authority, I’ll discipline him myself.” He paused, then added calmly, “Perfect timing. My guards are training nearby. Viola, go out and have Stick bring them in. Smash everything in sight.”

“Yes, Your Highness!” Viola replied eagerly.

She shifted into her wolf form and rushed out. Not long after, Stick led 30 beta wolves into the

room.
